Hi there and thank you. High Cup Nick is not in the danger zone and is a public footpath and right of way from Dufton to Cow Green Reservoir and beyond. The restricted area is the military firing ranges to the East which is managed as part of the Warcop Training Area and estate. High Cup Nick is outside of the training area. I have been up there many times before where I filmed the land owner and his sheep dogs herding sheep, albeit not the best of weather for that day. All the best.
