The Game King video blackjack machines never pay the normal 3:2 blackjack which does give the casino a significant advantage. The Casino Wizard machines do pay 3:2 on a blackjack along with allowing double down and splitting. I typically do not play them though because they have an abnormal run of dealer wins in a row.

Sorry to hear that. Just curious where you were playing? The Caesars properties seem to have the machines set to full blown screw you mode, as 20's and 21's come out at a statistically impossible rate. The best places to play the video blackjack machines are at the locals casinos away from the strip.

I would say their reward program is probably middle of the pack. Much better than Boyd properties but worse than Stations and MGM. If you haven't been to Fountainbleau yet it's worth the trip. They are giving $15 free play and $15 food voucher to new members of their reward club. They are also doing tier matching.

@@SinCityPlayer thanks. Ya I went to fountainblu the first week they opened and got a players card already but no offers. Their first week was a shit show. A lot of dealers and floor managers didn’t know anything about comps so I didn’t get anything. I am specifically going to Vegas just to mainly play at fountainblu because I like their face down pai gow table. Haven’t found any other face down pai gow tables in Vegas. I plan on going tomorrow since I’m comped at mirage

Thanks for the reply. It is a large casino and does significant business due to it's location but compared to many of the other Boyd properties in Las Vegas, this one is on the decline. However, since I recorded this video, they have opened a new high limit room and it seems as if they are making some upgrades with new carpet and such.

I agree that the fees have gotten out of hand. As long as people continue to come and pay the fees, the resort will continue to find ways to get extra money out them. Record number of tourists this year, so it must still be a good value to many.
