The camaraderie between Travis and Jared is the best yet date. When watching I feel like I am hanging out with two best friends and that is great. What I don’t have is detailed sense of game state. I get the general sense that Jared was winning and that’s about it. After picking up this video multiple times I lost track of the main mission, secondary, and advantages. Along with the unit count, who killed what, how units are positioned, what units will score what. It’s also unclear on tracking who is attacking what and how much health it started or ended with. On the flip side I really liked the cuts to player interviews it’s like a tv show. Just with all the awesome framework what’s happening gets lost. Also would love to see Travis the most just purely because of sportsmanship. Mind you I am hobbling while watching.

Shooting the spider enough that it was damaged and could explode was a massive mistake.

I like the vlog style between activations but it REALLY slows down the pace of the game.

Sadly, vets arent great atm. The speed 1 was a design mistake. They should be at least courage 2. AMG overvalued Prepared Positions. I think all the rebel heavies are overcosted as well and not worth the points. White save units in general are really suffering due to the new cover rules. I think AMG is headed in the right direction but theres still stuff to fix/adjust.

Glad you mentioned the round structure: The first game day I went to I didn't know about the break for lunch and ended up (foolishly) not eating or staying hydrated and actually dropped out of the last round to leave and get some food. The other suggestions in the video are good too 😆

Interesting thought in Dark Troopers. I thought ver 2.6 ruined them and we would never see them on the table again (now armor 3 and very squishy). But didn’t consider the mertalizer before until you mentioned it. This might be worth trying.

Thanks for adding your thoughts and experiences to the community feedback. I like that folks are trying different things like that maxed out activation rebel list, hopefully something topples the Big-Bad in the current Meta... 5/8 showings for the same faction in the finals of an event is not a great sign. Hopefully the changes in the second half of the updates next spring will help to restore balance to the force.

Unfortunately, 2.6 ruined legion for me. Thankfully, I have a small group of people willing to play “old legion” with me. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of AMG’s business model.

Rebels need more help. They're struggling severely.

Anakin, Arcs and Commandos need to be addressed asap or people are going to walk away. AMG needs to be more adamant on keeping the game fair and interesting otherwise people are going to be moving on to other games.

A fun video to watch, and you've got a new subscriber out of me! Looking forward to more. Lots of complaining about Anakin/501st. As someone who plays GAR and Empire both, they're definitely very good, but the people who are screaming about them being broken either don't have enough play time with them, or are still using the previous rules's mindset. The biggest weakness of GAR is just how darn expensive every single model is. On top of them being very much a up-close-and-personal army. My last few games with and against them, I've seen them crushed with a Vader/FlameSnow list as well as a Shoretrooper/E-web gunline. Red saves are good, but you won't save every single time. It's very easy to heavily out-activate 501st in particular and delete a unit every turn. They're a very killy army, sure, but in a game where victory points are everything, it's very easy to get them in a place where they don't have the bodies needed to secure objectives and score.

Like the short format, could still use a quick final thoughts. Really interested on what the community at large is feeling for the changes along with feedback on the different mission cards.

Thanks for the update, how much of a difference was there for the amount of players that joined at the LGS compared to Pre-2.6? Did you get any post game opinions from other players? TOTALLY agree that the dice for cover could use some a little more work.
