I loved seeing your journal system, so I thought I'd share mine with you, too :) I keep a diary to write my feelings, thoughts, and daily life. A research journal where I write looong essays about random topics that picked my interest, I even paste photos to represent things better. Then there's a planner for organization and to-dos. Lastly, I keep a scrapbook to document life events in a fun way, with pictures, letters, cards, drawings, and souvenirs from special moments. Love your vids, please never leave us! <3

On Meditating, Sort of (Mary Oliver - Blue Horses) Meditation, so I’ve heard, is best accomplished if you entertain a certain strict posture. Frankly, I prefer just to lounge under a tree. So why should I think I could ever be successful? Some days I fall asleep, or land in that even better place - half asleep - where the world, spring, summer, autumn, winter - flies through my mind in its hardy ascent and its uncompromising descent. So I just lie like that, while distance and time reveal their true attitudes: they never heard of me, and never will, or ever need to. Of course I wake up finally thinking, how wonderful to be who I am, made out of earth and water, my own thoughts, my own fingerprints - all that glorious, temporary stuff.

One thing that some people navigate through when going from 60 MPH to zero is some loss of self worth and purpose. You can go from feeling valued and having a sense of direction to being un-moored, a bit lost and feeling like you have less of a sense of belonging. Best thing to do is appreciate the down time and keep doing things you enjoy. It helps keep life a bit more balanced (especially given your chosen career).

I feel this especially when I see 'those' book hauls. These people are spending $$$ on books to sit on their bookshelves, just so they can post "unhauls" a year later...

The only time I read is when I really don’t have a choice like school text book feels like I’m just consuming the contents of it but yeah I read to understand 😭
