When I was a grad student at UIUC in the early 80's, my favorite was the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival! Best corn I'd ever had.

I had 23 items.... that's a lot hey... well there were 58 items the inspector named! items I requested fixed or replace warn furnace, hvac, dryer did not heat washer had top off of it, the counter had damaged under sink and draws, 3 walls had water damage, ispec says it seems to come rorm the top porch, utility room had been flooded and ai asked for the flooring to be removed to see if floor was damaged and snake infestation under crawl space and gfci to be updated, but there were 59 items i asked for 23 rto be taken care of.. i left all cosmetic things even extremely stair and living room carpet for me to replace! there were many times i did not ask the seller to do! it has been 3 days and no reply yet... ( termites on a stump under crawl space with a bivy of snakes) I asked for pest control and exterminator

And we have the wonderful Japanese culture teaching facility of Japan House, as well! They teach tea ceremony, Ikibana (plant arranging), and more! Japan House has beautiful gardens right next to the Arboretum. They also host a yearly outdoor festival called Matsuri with live music and great Asian food!

I would love to know more about the down south,Champagne Urbana, Bloomington,&Peoria,IL area. I currently live up north from you guys in a different city.The city that I live in the crime needs to dramatically be clean up because it's out of control. I just hope no matter where people live in Illinois or down south out of state that they can clean up the crime and make it more safer living conditions for people to not only be safe but to prosper and grow the good people deserve that, including me.

Dear Rose. My last time in Urbana was June 1988. I am planing to go back May 2022. I have a question: Do you recomend to go from Chicago to Urbana by train o bus? I don't feel confortable driven a car any more. I want to visit the Univwrsity now that I can handle by my self.
