Yeah, it catches some people off guard, but if you know the road well enough, its not an issue.

I use a wireless OBD2 scanner and an OBD2 app. What you can monitor depends on the car.

Slept on chassis. Much faster than NA and NB's plus cross compatible parts with the RX8.

I probably could have straighten some of my lines out a bit more to better maintain my speed to keep up. The biggest issue I had when keeping up was the power difference. As you can see in the video I could keep up in the "technical" section, but he loses me when the road opens up and he can use the s2000's power. I only barely kept up due to late/heavy trail breaking. Plus having an LSD in the integra would have helped, but I broke my previous transmission so I was running open diff this run.

@@Jelauski Its look down upon to try to pass on most roads when racing in my area. Unless there are two lanes or a passing zone. Its just extra risk for no gain. Just double check with the locals of your touge scene on what they do because that's what most people go by. Same thing with double laning. Most of the time it just a cat and mouse race. If the chase car is close enough to the lead car the chase car wins and vice versa.

Touge is not just a JDM thing. You can run the touge in any car.

touge just means pass because typically you would do it in the "mountain pass" yk so its kinda just the name for it like drag, so any car can participate in it

@@justggeorge I asked because you see a lot of Jdm vehicles participating in touge, but it's good to know that it's something democratic and you can participate with any vehicle you have, unfortunately in my country it's impossible to have a good Jdm with rear wheel drive, they are expensive cars, so I do touge with my Volkswagen front wheel drive

@@vicentejuniiior yeah thats true it is mainly seen in japan dominated by JDM cars but thats mainly because of their build where they dont have too much power and are quite light weight. Regardless, JDM or not you can still have a lot of fun in a FWD volkswagen 👍

Yeah these coilovers limit my rear stroke. Stock is around 180mm of rear stroke, but with these coils its at 115mm now which becomes an issue with the big jumps on this road, but id say 80-90% of it I can do just fine, but that 10-20% of the road I cant do like I used to in my integra makes me hold back quite a bit knowing if I hit one of these jumps too hard Ill go flying.

I’d say they both had pretty comparable drivers. I’d say 86 couldn’t attack at full speed due to not knowing what was ahead, leading to the DC2 being able to brake later. 86 driver had really good control for only being on the stock primacy’s and camber bolts

86 driver has good car control for sure, but his line is lacking. the ZN8 ZD8 is faster than a DC integra in corners and straights, his taillights should have been long gone.

@@Cichlid_Visuals The GR86 driver was trying to have a little fun sliding. His time is about 4-6 seconds faster than me on the time attack for this road, but I agree the ZN8 is faster in every way than my car. I am able to trail/late brake extremely hard because fwd which allowed me to keep up to a degree.

@@theMountainPassMonkey i think if you had a kswap you would have smoked him hard, you are clearly the better driver. i watched him drive on his own channel, hes good, but you have a killer instinct.

This is my old gopro hero 8 on a headrest mount. Now I use my iPhone 13pro on a suction mount to record because it has better low light. The FG2 had stock suspension.
