Hi, I just found this...I have the same machine, but I just bought actual. "blind hemmer thread"...now it just makes a loopy mess. Probably a tension issue, but the manual seems to have disappeared. Now what??
I am working on a Tacsew and the thread keeps breaking. It appears to happen when the looper moves into its 2nd move. I have tried a different thread, fabric, tension and stitch depth but the thread continues to break. Anyone have suggestions?
Great video but I thought when ending the stitching that you should not yank the fabric from the back that it will eventually bend the needle. Also what kind of thread?
use hammer is some..new Hi - Tech..?....hm technology go so fast...or i don"t understand ..nothing..after 20 years..work mechanic sawing ..and shoe machinery..
I need to know what to do when this kind of machines sew only one layer of the fabric example i have been trying to hem pants but the stiches do not attach to the bottom part of the fabric? can you please tell me what to do in this case?
Metaphysical thank you! Looking at this style tonight and just curious if they will sew 2 layers of polyvinyl (clear plastic fabric styles) for art projects I keep in mind?
I have this blind hemmer and I am having difficulties with sewing blind hem on finer fabrics. How do I adjust tension as everything I'm doing doesn't seem to work ?
Thank you for the video. I bought a blind hemmer a few years ago and still haven't used it. I have a use for it now for home furnishings. Your video has removed some of my apprehension.
Thank you so~~~ much for sharing your knowledge in DETAILS, this type of video saves many lives!!! Also showing how to lock the thread at the end! HOw to change needle right way! God bless you! One question, which blind hemmer would you recomend? Rex? Reliable? Yamata? can not afford real good ones but need one. Thanks a million! Nancy
Thank you sew much for this video. I was just gifted a different brand model, but just like this. I finally found out on the net what the machine was. So glad to have it and to have found your very informative video! :)
I am learning to use an old blind stitch machine. This video has been very helpful. The machine I am using seems to skip catching the loops when stitching over seams. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?
I have purchased a Mason blind hemmer, which resembles the model shown in your video. Thank you so much for this information, which gives me knowledge I lack.
Thank you so much. I have had a blind hemmer for two years but was afraid to use it. I am going to try right now with your great and closeup instruction!
Excellent job on demonstrating, the use of a blind hemmer machine. Such clear quality, I have always wanted one of these machines but felt it would be too difficult to learn how to use one, after watching this video I am willing to try, that is after I find one. Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE these blind hemmers! I never understood how anyone could afford to accept only $3 to raise the hem on a skirt or pair of slacks, until a friend explained that she used an industrial blind hemmer, & it saved HOURS of time, making it possible to actually sew them so fast, & so professionally, with so little effort! Thank you for sharing this video! Now if I could only find a video on oiling it!
THANK YOU! I've never been able to sew on my blind hemmer. I was ready to get rid of it. After watching your video, I found that I had one tiny thing wrong in the threading. I can't thank you enough!
Best video!
