My great grandmother x6 surname was Umn. It is native American. She married a Toliver a Black Italian from Argentina. They were dark skinned and sold into slavery from Louisiana to Ms. My maternal family lived on that plantation for 100 years.

There was no such thing as a African American before 1960. Negro/Indian/Mullato/Jew/Moor/Wild are the searchable terms.

I use UA-cam and Netflix to focus on writing. I also used music when I wrote rough drafts in 10th grade. My teacher in Education for Employment used Pandora to play Disney tunes and I basically wrote when there were no assignments to work on. That class was a bit of a waste of time for me, so to pass the time, I wrote. Also while writing I spotted a kid with a Nintendo Switch playing Smash Bros. One of his matches was Zelda vs Palutena.

Hello, My name is Melinda Hodges. I was born and raised in North Carolina. Never did I hear anything about Juneteenth. It was not taught in the history books and my white teachers were definitely not going to teach it. I was a grown woman when I heard about Juneteenth. I do remember when I taught it in school, I was asked I couldn't teach it . A white supervisor told me my lesson was geared towards a community college level. I sometimes think about it and how injustice it was, but now It is a recognized all over the United States. Tears come in my eyes with so much joy!

With a $3.6 million dollar budget that is the best you can do? At least you are putting that drone to good use.
