The plant is etoiliating. The one you're saying is bulb at the bottom, even if they seem like they're getting enough light, they're not. Some types of cacti/succulent can only grow in true scorching (essentially) sun. The other option is getting an intense grow light. It will definitely turn purple, though in intense light again!

I've been on the hunt for a red vined ivy myself so I know how that quest can be. Nick Pileggi did a renter friendly tension rod for his hanging plants on a large window. Which might be helpful for you on ideas. Just keyword "Nick Pileggi and tension rod" and it should pull right up for you. It's larger scale tension rods so it holds the weight of plants. It might be a option you like.

Wonderful collection. Question….why are they planted so deeply in the pot? Is that typical for Hoyas?

You need to report your orchids. They are epiphytic plants. Phalaenopsis live on trees not in soil. Try to find bark for orchids. You can find lots of information on how to care for phalaenopsis orchid on the Internet. Happy growing and i hope your orchids bloom for you next year :)

Your Hoya and cactus will need more light than what is on the mid & lower shelves of your plant stand. The cactus need very bright light.

mealy bugs come from the soil, yes taking it out of the soil, is the only way to rid a plant of them, i take them out and alcohol them or peroxide them, either works, but hindu rope, they will get mealys i think you need to check that one,thought i saw mealys on that one as well

they do krinkle as they age
