I'm an Australian music fan who for over 20 years has been enthusiastically taping, trading, editing music and music related live performance video. From the early days recording rage, setting the DVD recorder, to the more modern methods of recording TV appearances using a Digital Video Recorder.
In recent years I have also kept an eye out for second hand VHS tapes destined for the tip on places like Marketplace.
I used a bicubic upscaling method which improves the resolution of the video without altering the original artistic intent of the video footage.

These guys were one of the best live bands going around Perth back in the day. Their self titled record is this dark, bold and loud explosion of just wildness and hook-y goodness. Stripped back here doing their original on Robbie Bucks' Top Shelf afternoon radio program on Triple J. I'm guessing this would have been their only 'live tv appearance'.
