@@GuitarSoundLab tq love it bro
Hi,can i know what different seymour duncun humbeker and seymour duncun trembacker?.sound or the size?.which sound is awesome?.thank you
Hi, the difference is only in the spacing of the magnets. Trembucker is for the bridge stratocaster style (strings spacing bigger), while the humbucker is for guitars having a bridge les paul style (smaller spacing). The tone is the same
Seymour duncan ssl5🥇
It's a great choice!
Try using the neck pickup like morello does, should get you closer to sounding like him.
Thanks for the suggestion my friend
Cool video ! I prefer ssl but both are awesome
They are both a valid choice, SSL-5 does not need any presentation, it cuts the mixer...Fender humbucker is good balanced for rock and hard rock
@@GuitarSoundLab i ve 57/62 install and a ssl5 in a box. Not sure if it would improve or not . There is lots of definition in 57/62 but the output of the bridge feel lower then middle and neck.
@@acecomet try it, it has a lot of definition and it sounds very well also for crunch and lead...it is the range of gain where the vintage single coils sound not defined
Epic
Thanks my friend
Thanks. I don't use 3rd party IRs with my QC, but also noticed in your comparison that QC cabsims sound very closed, not open/bright.
Thank you for watching and for your feedback. I've tested professional IR 3rd parts some weeks ago and I have your same opinions...with professional IR like York Audio the response is more realistic, less sparkling, more detailed and less compressed in a box than the Cab Sim...more or less a lot of QC Cabs Sim have the above defects
🎸
The formula is really simple. Nice IR + Nice Capture = The Sound. That's all.
@@TheUrblaike their weight to get the realistic result are 50:50 %, I agree with you. In the demo I've used the QC Amp modelers...JCM800 and Soldano Slo100 modelers in the QC are at the same level of the captures...while Plexi and Twin Reverb are less accurate than the captures Thanks for watching and for your feedback
I've always found Neural DSP's IRs very underwhelming. Compressed, overprocessed, artificial-sounding. Ownhammer, York Audio, and Seacow Cabs definitely sound more accurate.
@@ErebosGR I've realized that a well done IR is more realistic, defined and dinamic in response and less compressed and sizzle than the Cab Sim block...the other defect of Cab Sim is that gives more gain and sparkling result than the Amp capture, with York Audio IR I've solved this QC limit

What is the model name/number for this RG guitar?
The model is Ibanez Premium RG 870 QMZ
@@GuitarSoundLab Thanks for that! I really liked the tone in this video, in my opinion it's the best video for showing the tone of this pickup, it sounds great.
@@Jonw8222 thank you for watching it and for appreciation! This pickup couples wery well with this Ibanez (basswood body) and also with the Stratocaster (alder body) model...I will do asap a demo also on Stratocaster model. So for these two guitar models I recommend it to you
@@Jonw8222 this cover is done with SD Perpetual Burn mounted on Stratocaster ua-cam.com/video/0qM7JokIzIg/v-deo.html
IS the SSL5 different than the SD quarter pounder?
I've never tested the SD quarter pounder, but I know that it is normally coupled with a Telecaster. So I think that they have a different frequencies range
Nice
Thanks!!!
Nice ❤❤❤❤

@@GuitarSoundLab can I use
Th-u can’t be beat!
Th-u is a great plugin, high level amps and effects quality
Both pickups sounded great, but I'm going with the Tone Zone. A bit more brightness and bite than the Crunch Lab. Good video!
@@richcharvel7162 Thank so much for your appreciation and watching, they are both great solutions...the Tone Zone is more versatile also for rock and hard rock, more dynamic than the Crunch Lab
Nice solo! Mind sharing the tabs?
Many thanks I've not written the solo tabs, sorry
@@GuitarSoundLab That's alright, I'll just try to get them by ear. Any problem if I use that solo in a concert instead of the original one?

Hi, great backing track! What key is this?
Hi, many thanks Starting key is C Major, after it changes in D Major and E Major
good song, i am lovely
@@Rafaelgrin thanks my friend
🔥 yooo
Vibration from wood can cut some note.
Yes, the Fatfinger shift the "black spot" on the freatboard due to the neck mass variation
Gibson sounds demp
The JB is a great pickup for rock stuff, just not the best cleans and a big volume drop when you go from the full JB to a single coil.
@@1madaxeman yes I agree with you
Big volume drop? Bro, its using half the coils, its gonna be half the volume. Thats physics. And the same for every humbucker
@@Ottophil not quite - a low to medium output humbucker paired with a hotter wound single coil will allow for a much better balance when changing. A hot bucker (like the JB that I have on one pickguard) paired with more modest lower output single coils brings a massive volume discrepancy. Wisely choosing your pups outputs is the way to do HSS well.
This is fantastic!

Dirty Diana!!! Awesome demo!
Many thanks my friend!!!
It seems like you raised the delay volume when played with the gadjet. This is a useless test I can't make a fair opinion on the enhancer.
It works differently on the fretboard for sustain, positively or negatively in comparison to the guitar without fat finger
Hello, did you have to modify that pickup in order to fit in?
Hi, no I didn't, just replacement without any modifications
la aspettavo da anni! finora c'era solo la versione tagliata. sei il N1
Mi fa piacere e ti ringrazio...buona musica!
Love both pickups.👍👍
They are both a valid choice
THIS IS CRAZY.
Thanks
wowww..superb 😅!!!!
Thanks for your appreciation!!!
I prefer the ssl5, and la grange is made with a stratocaster in single coil. You can also use a keyztone exchanger for having all the sound of pickups you want
Thanks for your reply...SSL-5 is a great single coil solution for the bridge, honestly with it I don't miss the bridge humbucker for the heavy riffs
Exactly the same guitar im wanting to put one in... Do i need to change volume pot or Anything else or just Humbucker?
If you want to replace the humbucker with the JB you need only it
Thank you Very much.. Just What I needed to know..
@@rddayjr thank you for watching! Enjoy with it
Excellent video, but I wish you had left the TS out. It just makes every hi gain tone mushy and generic.
Many thanks for your appreciation and for the suggestion. I use always the TS 808 as a booster, it means with drive=0 and max volume=10...for my next video I will try to use different booster stomps checking the results
@@GuitarSoundLabI appreciate your graciousness. For me, dist doesn't always need a booster, and not in this context, demoing. Just my opinion though. I prefer a flatter , more aggressive tone . That being said, a flatter clean boost can work really well. I've always relied on my compressor to clean boost. That mesa sounds fantastic on its own IMHO. But your videos are very nicely done, I'm being picky.
So I finally found a Candy Apple Red Strat MIM with a Floyd Rose I always wanted and it has the H-S-S. And it has a black pickgaurd. I have your guitar with a Floyd so to speak. So I bought a Trembucker because , well it's well you know why. Seymour Duncan. I put in a Kramer Striker mahogany super strat instead. I'm now thinking I might put it in the strat. Thank' dude. This is a great demo and exactly what I needed
Thanks so much for your appreciation my friend! With Floyd Rose bridge the Trembucker will work better than the vintage bridge above all on the palm mute riffs...JB Trembucker and Stratocaster is a fantastic combination
The difference is you hit the strings a bit harder with it because you'd hope for $37(CAD) it would do something, I was hoping too but I just used a piece of steel and brass in different positions clamped to the headstock with no difference at all, it's not worth sticking a piece of metal on the headstock for a placebo effect. Hope this helps before you become one of those tone wood guys.😂
Many thanks for your comment! I've realized that it gives just an extra attack due to the increased mass of the neck, while the sustain balance on the different positions of the fretboard change. In average the sustain is the same with or without fat finger
@@GuitarSoundLab it's all in your head my guy, adding any substantial mass to the neck only decreases the sustain, I know how to make a true guitar sustain although living in my grandparent's garage makes me want to patent and sell it and it will probably cost about $50 or less except it won't be some gimmicky snake oil sustain, it will actually hold the note or chords out forever and will add a new type of expression.
I couldn't really tell them apart but i don't have trained ears.
Many thanks for watching
