    A mio avviso dovresti fare la comparativa con gli stessi plugin della neural DSP... TH-U è un'altra cosa... e' come comparare Amplitube con TH-U, non ha molto senso secondo me..

      @@GuitarSoundLab si certo, però a mio avviso è naturale che suoni meglio dato che sono prodotti per fare concorrenza ad amplificatori reali (anche se parliamo sempre di modelli che non potranno mai essere la stessa cosa..). Invece sarebbe interessante capire se i plugin della Neural DSP con un buon laptop e un'ottima interfaccia siano peggiori del Quad Cortex che usa gli stessi modelli.. era solo un invito ad estendere la tua comparativa..🙂

    • @GuitarSoundLab
      @GuitarSoundLab 9 днів тому

      @@maio996s@maio996s la domanda da porsi è se la differenza vale l'investimento oppure no...dipende sempre dal budget e dall'utilizzo che se ne deve fare. NDSP Plugin suonano meglio di alcuni modelers del Quad Cortex, TH-U è un ottimo prodotto, ha degli amplificatori che si avvicinano molto alla qualità dei NDSP plugin. Il Quad Cortex è il top con le catture, acquistando quelle di ottima qualità fatte in studio da professionisti è come utilizzare un ampli reale oppure come registrare in studio...in quel caso non c'è confronto che tenga.

    il jb alla fine suona sempre bene in tutte le chitarre, cosa ne pensi di queste schecter come qualità confronto ad una stratocaster usa? è un peccato che la fender non fa un modello con radius 14 e tasti jumbo oltre la molto costosa ultra. penso che da questo punto di vista schecter offre una maggiore versatilità e comodità anche in territori da shred. volevo prendere una fender e modificarla con una configurazione alla Dann huff. quindi jb al ponte e due hot stacks, però stavo valutando molto anche questa perchè il manico e i tasti di questa schecter sono davvero molto interessanti.

    • @GuitarSoundLab
      @GuitarSoundLab 4 місяці тому

      Si, il JB con le strato è una garanzia, peccato solo che abbia poca dinamica e questo non lo rende utilizzabile in tutte le situazioni. Le Route 66 sono comodissime anche per la sagomatura del manico che permette comfort anche sui tasti 18-22...cosa che Fender non ha! Non hanno lo stesso suono delle Fender americane, ma nel loro timbro leggermente diverso sono chitarre di ottima fattura...ti parlo delle Route 66 diamond series, non delle R66 che sono di fascia più bassa. Acquistare un buon usato e configurarla secondo i propri gusti si fa un ottimo affare, non si sente la mancanza di una Fender americana.

      Many thanks for your appreciation and for the suggestion. I use always the TS 808 as a booster, it means with drive=0 and max volume=10...for my next video I will try to use different booster stomps checking the results

      @@GuitarSoundLabI appreciate your graciousness. For me, dist doesn't always need a booster, and not in this context, demoing. Just my opinion though. I prefer a flatter , more aggressive tone . That being said, a flatter clean boost can work really well. I've always relied on my compressor to clean boost. That mesa sounds fantastic on its own IMHO. But your videos are very nicely done, I'm being picky.

    So I finally found a Candy Apple Red Strat MIM with a Floyd Rose I always wanted and it has the H-S-S. And it has a black pickgaurd. I have your guitar with a Floyd so to speak. So I bought a Trembucker because , well it's well you know why. Seymour Duncan. I put in a Kramer Striker mahogany super strat instead. I'm now thinking I might put it in the strat. Thank' dude. This is a great demo and exactly what I needed

      Thanks so much for your appreciation my friend! With Floyd Rose bridge the Trembucker will work better than the vintage bridge above all on the palm mute riffs...JB Trembucker and Stratocaster is a fantastic combination

    The difference is you hit the strings a bit harder with it because you'd hope for $37(CAD) it would do something, I was hoping too but I just used a piece of steel and brass in different positions clamped to the headstock with no difference at all, it's not worth sticking a piece of metal on the headstock for a placebo effect. Hope this helps before you become one of those tone wood guys.😂

      Many thanks for your comment! I've realized that it gives just an extra attack due to the increased mass of the neck, while the sustain balance on the different positions of the fretboard change. In average the sustain is the same with or without fat finger

      @@GuitarSoundLab it's all in your head my guy, adding any substantial mass to the neck only decreases the sustain, I know how to make a true guitar sustain although living in my grandparent's garage makes me want to patent and sell it and it will probably cost about $50 or less except it won't be some gimmicky snake oil sustain, it will actually hold the note or chords out forever and will add a new type of expression.
