Balling on budget and going where they wont

Outward Componentry on my Budget Jeep Tj
Just a loose rundown on some of the outboard modifications that make my jeep work the way it do. Modification is a tonne of fun but to avoid modifying yourself into a hole, be mindful of what you want to do and where you want to go with your unit. Alot of this stuff can either be sourced "reasonably" cheaply off used repositories or created at home. If you got the clams to throw down, throw down, especially if you are lucky enough to have a tj in reasonable shape.

Song: Twelve Fifty Five Artist: Grayera We just picked up another 98 cherokee to add to the ranks. This one will be configured for the longer range trips through the province but also be a capable trail rig for those hidden gems. Excited to spend more time creating content following this build. #jeepxj , #jeeplife , #overlanding , #OverlandBC, #britishcolumbia , #explorebc , #offroadadventures ...

First Sesh of the Season // Shake Da Rust Off
I would personally appreciate less background music. Nice jeep.
The Tumbler ridge area is just so beautiful. I worked there for part of a summer and it is well worth the visit!!
The fit of the hood louver is not bad at all, I have been looking at them for my TJ here in Australia. Found one on Ali for AU$70
Yea its an absolute scoop for a tj. I just had to move my window fold bushings and watch the trim on the underside because the bracing is in different spots. Otherwise I love it. Hate the hardware it came with though, such soft metal.
oh dude the clip from mike's mom goes HARD
My rf-1s and arbiter kt era was my favourite skating era tbh
couldnt have clicked faster seeing this pop up in my feed love these vids. I have an 05 TJ my dad handed down to me in high school and served as a daily driver for many years and now I'm turning it into my weekend warrior. Added 4 inch lift, 33' tires, banging sound system while in school now I work more than I have time to drive and I've added 1.25 body lift, motor mount lift, tummy tuck with flat skid, swaylock disconnect bar, SYE w/ double cardan driveshaft. Just had rock sliders created and welded on for me by a local shop for $700 I've bought enough peace of mind to go out and enjoy tackling the hard stuff
Wow being blessed with an 05 is incredible. Its also so cool to have a reliable daily thats cool and quirky that you then transform into a weapon on the trails with your own hands. There is no more satisfying of a vehicle arc in my opinion. Very solid mod list, well balanced for performance and maintaining comfort and reliability. Thats super cool dawg, you gotta let me know when you post some clips of it. Thank you for your comment!
Late 90s early 2000s was the peak. 06 Ram Cummins, 06 tj, 98 Tacoma all keep going and we get a newish suv for my wife every 5 years and they kinda suck.
Yea it seems like cars are going the way of cell phones, which is very tough to see especially from an enthusiast point of view. Sounds like youve got a pretty nice trifecta of long lasting units there though. Hope you are able to hold onto them as long as you can!
Awesome work! Well done. Loved my TJ and miss it dearly.
Thanks so much! Yea its a grand vehicle and i fear the day where i too will be missing it.
Love the editing
He’ll yeah
Noah, I could listen to you talk about cars until the cows come home. This was once again a wonderful watch.
I kinda wanna make one about my JL or you should. The polar opposite from yours. Mine is getting me near bankruptcy
Yea it would actually be cool to work on a head to head type project. Cost / performance breakdown and what it took to get where we both are. I think that would be super cool and fun for a video. Great idea!
This sweet!
🤘
i love this
ew is the best offroading music
Looooove how you're shooting this! It's a refreshing take! Shoutout from the Fraser Valley!
nice video! are you based out of BC or Alberta? looking forward to the next one!
Thanks so much. We’re out of the middle of BC.
Great shots! Love the sense of dread with the fog and foreboding music. 🤘
Thank you so much! Yea i find projecting the mood this way gives the subject, in this case the land, a massive scale compared to a person or vehicle. Helps it feel like it really felt. Very nice comment i appreciate it immensely.
great way to start the lujnch hour
Nice video! Love the colors and dramatic mood. How long did it take you guys to get to the top? Thanks!
Thanks so much! Took us about 2 hours up! Got there about 4:00 with plenty of time to watch the sunset from the top.
@@VoidOutlands Thanks for the info. The weather is looking good on Thursday and Friday this week. If the wind is not too crazy, we might camp up on top.
@@wanderingtrailrider Good idea, dress warm. I was fine at night in a thermal layer and sweats.
@@VoidOutlands Ah, excellent. Hopefully, my Dickenson propane fireplace will work at elevation if the temps dip down. I don't want to carry my diesel heater just yet. Haha! Thanks again!
Wow!
I wan a truck now
Cool video! That was a fun day…
