Two permanent seats for Africa in the UN Security Council is a fair request. Three would be ideal. One for the Francophone States, one for the Anglophone States and one for the Arabic States. Global Security needs to accommodate all areas where conflicts can arise. The current arrangement is not delivering results. Wars and conflicts are erupting uncontrollably. Ukraine, Middle East, Sahel States, etc. the list is endless.

IMF is labelled a predatory lender. It lends in line with the policies of its masters, the West: to impoverish its borrower countries so they can tow the line when extractive and exploitative deals are presented to them for approval. The world is ruled by the rich and powerful and not by democratic principles and values.

You have said it well, Joshua Maponga; the war is all about resources, and the US and France are peddling for exclusive influence so they can carry on their extractive and exploitative policies unhindered. Foreign aid, loans, direct investments, and military partnerships are merely means to this end. The ECOWAS will be well advised to revoke all military foreign partnerships and create one for all of its 15 member states.This should embody the following, " An attack on one state is an attack on all states" This joint army will creat the necessary deterrence to keep foreign predators at bay.

I am happy to see some African leaders waking up, but we need to put a lot of work in to back our words up, so we might as well begin to command and not just demand our rightful place. Talking doesn't work as much as we are made to believe you know, action speaks much louder than voice.
