The Story of Princess Di | Documentary 1996
THE STORY OF PRINCESS DI - A Princess Adored, A Woman Betrayed
Look behind the closed doors of Charles and Diana, Andrew and Fergie, and the Queen.
Once upon a time, there was a young woman who fell in love with a prince. Upon their marriage she became a princess, whose quiet charm and beauty enraptured the world. They lived in a palace and had two handsome sons. This story is every young girl's dream, a modern day fairy tale. A story that should have a 'happily ever after' ending. But this is the story of Princess Diana and the House of Windsor.
Diana was a shy 18 year old school teacher when she fell in love and married Prince Charles. Although unprepared for life in the public eye, she took her place in the royal family and soon became the most popular member of a family whose public scandals had shaken the monarchy to the core. Yet, instead of a fairy tale ending to her tale, there was betrayal, rumors of mental instability and impending divorce. A divorce from the future King of England should have scathed her image and relegated her to a non-public life, but her will and determination to continue her work with charitable causes has lead to even greater admiration from the world.
Told by the authors of the #1 best seller “The Fall of the House of Windsor”, Nigel Blundell and Susan Blackhall, “The Story of Princess Di” uses actual press footage and gripping reenactments to bring you the shocking true stories behind the headlines. Look behind the closed doors into the innermost lives of Charles and Diana, Andrew and Fergie, and even the Queen herself to learn if the British Royal Dynasty can survive in its present form.

My favorite DD song and video. I've always heard that a "Thriller" type version of this video existed, but i never saw it until it was first uploaded to YT eight years ago. Then it suddenly disappeared until now. After seeing this version, the video now makes a lot more sense. However, if they had put a lot more work into it in terms of plot and all, they would've come out with a rather decent mini movie. Still, i love this video just the same. Thanks for giving us Durannies such a wonderful gift.😊

He should revive the show and ask Americans about what they believe about China, or some other foreign country. And ask Canadians too. Did you hear that Xi Jinping declared the aborted Uyghur human fetus as a national delicacy? Congratulations China.

A complete mystery as to what inspired that episode now. Only reminds us now of Irish Canadian humor in general instead. Except for the earthquake part. The earthquake part not the adveritsers. At my birthday party yesterday me and some of my family members on the way back home agreed that Lima beans and a bean pot are way better prop details to include in Irish Canadian humor during a wave of too hot weather at the time. Instead of sleds being mroe reliable transportation whenever having to lay down instead of harvesting too.

80's kids were so much cooler. Teenagers in the 80's and 90's were kind of the last to grow up pretty much without an overwhelming amount of tech. There was no cancel culture or woke culture. The kids just took life as it came and had to deal with stuff themselves. People in their 40's and 50's today are more balanced with much thicker skin for the most part.
