A ride & railfanning at the Carson City railroad museum
On June 9, 2024, my dad and I went to the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, NV. We toured around and got a ride behind Virginia & Truckee No. 25. We also saw the Glenbrook running, which was a nice treat. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed being there!

Illinois Insulator Hunt

This hunt was filmed my me and my dad on a three day span. We did not film the second day, because we found nothing. The third day justified it all, with a great payout of 6 insulators. The other guy on the third day was my cousin Joe, who lead us out on an old rural road which crosses the tracks. I hope you enjoyed this video, I had a lot of fun making it.

We got to explore inside, outside, and on top of the museum's extensive set of nuclear weapons transport and guard cars! Keep an eye out for the rare helium car at the very end.

Hey guys-tonight we ran some trains-both switching & under the control of the dispatcher. This train is from after we ran out of other trains to run. I was running it behind a Big Boy, and then when we were at a double-track area, I switched to the second track & passed the Big Boy.

Henry & Dad explore the Capitola railroad trestle, now open to pedestrian traffic. It still has "No Trespassing" signs, but it's obviously out of service for trains.

The building right next to the train station is open friday-Sunday from 11AM-4PM with a virtual simulator from bnsf, you can drive for free.. also if it says “out of order” you can still ask the guy at the from desk (bob) to run it.
