The design was so elegant and practical, making it easy to set-up and use. My dad got the leather finish and he loved it so much that he would not leave his Room since I had set it up for him. The cord is to short for a one armed (RIGHT HANDED ONLY) person. Need an extension. I know 99% of the world has two arms but some like me and others that have lost the use of their left arm are further handicapped by this design flaw. The cord could simply be a little longer to cover everyone without limiting all people with left arm problems. Another option would be have the motor bracket on both sides for placement either or side.

Question, is the frame made of wood anywhere? I am 6ft3 and 355 pounds of silver back ape. I go through recliners every two years. I want one where the thing is made from all cast iron or stainless steel that will never bend or break etc. I like to kick back and fall asleep all night long in my recliners so they get lots of wear and tear. Will this thing hold up? Is it made from steel or another strong metal and not breakable wood?
