It's a video camera, not a condenser studio microphone, we need to listen to the specific frequencies that are far from frequencies that are made by guitars or other instruments!!! We need to listen how it's sound in crowded, windy, noisy situations! If you want to record instrument get an M3 Rode which is 30% more expensive than your "Video Mics"!

It does not appear small .. really? Isn't larger or huge but it doesn't look that small (hope not .. I am not a couch or chair player .. I stand)? I own the AW54 - OPN (okoume model) and am quite satisfied. I like the playability and sound so much I have been 'seriously' thinking about the AC - 340 .. I do plenty of 'strumming' .. in fact mostly strumming and I am hoping this can fill both roles of doing jus tad of finger picking and lots of those big open chords in strumming. Can you please answer these questions if you have time? 1. How does the quality 'feel' when you hold it etc? .. 2. Is it loud enough with plenty of punch ? 3. Again .. It does not look 'small' .. Will it work for someone who stands and uses a shoulder strap .. a stand and strum person? .. Or is this too geared to the sitting player who is a picker only?
