5.2.22 The Truth About Lower Back Pain & Sciatica
My father has a shoulder problem , hopefully this video can help
what is the difference between astym and graston technique?
Grastron breaks down healthy tissue. ASTYM doesn’t, it’s supposed to just target scar tissue and promote regeneration of the tendon without damaging it.
I watched the entire video waiting to hear how this is so dramatically different from guasha like your website claims, but I realize that this is just a gross appropriation of guasha. Folks, you are far better off going to an actual acupuncturist who can correctly perform guasha the way it has been done for thousands of years, than these “practitioners” who stole a traditional modality and called it their own name. This is just blatant and shameful cultural and medicinal appropriation.
Is someone in india taking an antibiotic also shameful appropriation? Thankfully in this world there is an exchange of knowledge, which allows more people to be treated and get better.
@fbreade What a weird attempt at trying to condone appropriation, which you clearly don’t understand. No one in India is selling antibiotics by claiming they came up with some proprietary method/product that they are now re-labeling under the guise of something they created. That’s what’s happening here, hence the appropriation that is very real. I am not saying people shouldn’t get better and you’re right, thankfully there is an exchange of knowledge. I’m just mad that white people are stealing an effective, ancient practice, and stating that those who originally came up with said practice that they’re stealing don’t actually know how to do it, and these white people who are appropriating these practices can actually do it better. The best part of this is that they can’t actually prove it’s any better, or even any different from traditional guasha (which is what my original comment was stating), they’re just now able to make money off of it instead of the lineage of practitioners who actually learned the original, effective technique, and are also perfectly capable of performing said original, effective technique. I’m pretty sure I know where you fall on this spectrum
What are astym tools used at home?
Servings spoons work great
Astym tools used at home

I wish you would do more ASTYM videos
I would like one of the consultations. Ames or Des Moines. I’m in Ankeny.

My heal was broken in 3 places last winter I think it’s all in place with all my exercises I do the foot doctor told be do not go barefoot
Sometimes my foot seams soft my the end of the day when before I go to bed my foot tender and soft by the time of the end of day
I keep exercising my foot with the ball or tennis ball and raising my against the wall usually it better and I can little better but the next day my heal is still hard! Then I’m still working my foot is that why I have to keep the work up?
I couldn't see the tools.
They are small but I just rotated my phone to a horizontal view and that helped. Or go to UA-cam on your tablet, laptop or TV.👍🏾 Good luck.
