Good question. It is the same exact figure as the ANH version. So no butterfly joints unfortunately. The articulation is a bit more “dated” than the ESB, ROTJ, or Kenobi versions. But it’s still an awesome and worthy figure to have on your shelf. I understand you not liking the archive packaging as much as the mural (galaxy) packaging though.

I hear ya Patrick! It’s a dope figure no doubt. It’s one of the best in the entire line for sure. In the top ten (maybe top 15) best figures of all time IMO. Hasbro should ship solid cases of this figure, everybody’s gonna want at least a few. Hopefully they will have these on the shelves and plentiful supply. That’s always the big problem is finding one but not finding another one.

I’m inclined to agree man. It really is just so perfectly done. These are definitely not near as prone to warping compared to some others in the line. Yea…10 sounds about right lol. And dude that would be so wicked if they sold these. Y the case! I freaking wish! I feel a lot of us collectors would buy a whole case of plain white clones without hesitation! These should be STACKED on shelves I agree. And man Hakuna Matata don’t mention it! You deserved it for not only giving me a shout out (twice) on your channel, but I also dig your insight and opinion. Not to mention now that iv seen your collection I feel like I have more of an insight to you as a collector yourself. I’m glad you enjoy them dude! Like I always say, that makes me have even MORE joy and motivation when filming these reviews.

Nothing wrong with having two! I don’t blame ya. I have two and I like to keep one in box and one loose to pose and stuff obviously. It really is just a very well done figure and a very definitive representation of his character. From the updated articulation, accessory and new armor sculpting, and superb paint. That darksaber hilt is a new sculpt compared to the pre visla and Moff Gideon darksaber I believe. His blaster is also slightly larger (more accurate) and has way more sculpting detail on the handle of the blaster, a very nice wood grain look to it. The paint actually pulls off the “chrome/shiny” effect so perfectly, and the blue color accents of his new armor just adds a slight pop to his costume. And SOFTGOODS!! tattered and worm and can be draped WITH his jet pack. And the helmet proportion looks so much better as well. Sorry I know that was a long comment but I really love that figure a lot too.

The only thing that could have made it better, would be an alternate head (without helmet) of Din Djarin. But tbh that’s just a nitpick. I would display him with the helmet on most likely. Or that would give me a reason to just buy another to display one with and with out the helmet. Hasbro missed the opportunity! Jk. Lol.

Do you know what I would like even more is if they just did an alternate head, instead of a removable helmet, I would prefer a solid helmet because they always seem to look better in my opinion. Although they have done a good job with some of the removal helmets recently, I just hate it when they warp.

@@hyperdrivecollections6460 I agree man. I just opened up my galaxy packaging boba and is helmet is warped bad. Nothing some hot water and light pressure can’t fix. However, we shouldn’t have to do that before we can put it on the shelf. They have been doing pretty good with it lately.

I totally feel you dude. I always told myself I wasn’t gonna collect any other lines…yet here I am. lol. They are so phenomenal though. They’re already shooting up on the aftermarket. I wanted to get another wolverine to keep on card (the cardbacks are so thick and sturdy) but he’s going for over 50 60 even 70 bucks iv seen as of late from certain Amazon and eBay listings. Rogue shot up almost immediately it felt like. I’m still patiently waiting for her to come sometime in august. But if you do happen to come across them in GameStop or Walmart, I HIGHLY recommend picking them up. The space issue is a whole other can of worms lol. But now that iv seen a bit more of your display I think you could pull it off with your creativity. I know you said in one of your videos you don’t like to overwhelm people with a bunch on the shelf and rather have each piece shine on its own. I love the set up you have, buuuut I think you could squeeze a few x-men in there! 👀👀

I’m not sure what’s up with that, Il have to mess around with it when I get home. I would have assumed it was for the articulation of the arms somehow. Il have to check that out.

That last video you commented on I had to delete cuz it didn’t upload right so my bad lol. I appreciate you commenting as always. I know you’re a big OT guy. I’m not so sure yet. Was thinking about maybe getting into some dioramas but at the same time I still feel like my display is in a bit of a “temporary” place. I have some other shelving I’m wanting to get all my figures set up on. With this new one it will be a bit wider (almost 47 inches long 12 inches wide) and I think it will give me more room to work with. To answer your question: I’d basically like to have all my OT figures on one whole shelf transitioning from ANH, ESB, & ROTJ. I want to have it in a smooth transition from one film to the next. One of my dream displays (dioramas) would be vaders command bridge with him and all the bounty hunters set up in the ESB section. I would LOVE that.

I feel ya Hyper, it’s definitely one of the favorite droid designs as well. I also loved playing as them in the old 2004 (& 2017) battlefront games. So there’s also a lot of nostalgia for me. I feel ya Kyle. I’m sure you’re right. I have looked at some of the OFFICIAL Neca pics, and the quality of these that I have is definitely nowhere near the legit ones. They do still look cool and I love them on my shelf, but deep down I know there is probably a SIGNIFICANT difference in person. That sucks. The accessories do seem a bit lack luster. Mikey’s nunchucks are the worst of all the accessories in my opinion. Very thin plastic type strand of string connecting them. But for mine; Leo’s katanas seem pretty decent and sturdy for mine, not much to Donatellos staff but it has some nice sculpting, and Raphs sais are pretty decent as well. That sucks you had a bad experience with your purchase. Unfortunately these may be more for “display” than “play”. Thanks for watching!

Yea preferably I wouldn’t but in this case it was kinda an accident. But it is what it is. I still like them and they look pretty decent. Other than the bits of sloppy paint I can’t complain. The face sculpts also aren’t quite as crisp as the legit ones, but still very decent for the price.
