Hi. I went to pinecrest about 45 years ago on a 6th grade camping trip. I will never forget it because i slipped into the water and was drowning. My classmate pulled me out thankfully. I would have surely died at the bottom of the lake! Besides that i remember hardly anyone even there. It was in its natural beauty. I have yet to return. 😊
