Nearly 10 years ago is genuinely insane. Loved listening to this in my teens.

First I listened to it, in 2016 I was just passing out of school. I was in a temporary phase of deep sadness /Depression, with bitter amount of loneliness. Found a girl, we worked well, till it broke off in 2020. Met someone new, fell in love again and still with her and now I'm a doctor. I still don't feel complete in my life. I'm still anxious. I'm still short of that feeling of satisfaction. I'm still away from the void i try to run away from. Maybe I'll return here again in 8-9 years and see if I'm happy.

this song is craaaaazy nostalgic to me. i used to listen to this constantly in high school, which was a pretty difficult time in my life. this song definitely made me feel better during those times.

I would listen to this on SoundCloud in my freshmen year of high-school while I was in the shower on various house hold drugs and it would always remind me to take a break from those. I recently just had my first and last overdose on bad percs and now I’m listening to this a week out from that incident and it gives nostalgic hope that my younger self never knew he’d experience. Love ya George although we never met you’ve been the greasiest indirect motivator I never wanted but neeeded.

This song summarizes two summers for me, really the background theme to my coming of age. In 2016 the guy I had a crush on used to play this song a lot whilst we were working on projects at school. It was “a cute video game song” I could see on the computer next to me whilst imagining a bright future. In 2017 the girl I loved nearly died on a regular from the life she lived though I had paid her debts when she had used the medicine she was supposed to sell. This became the song I could drive to to forget the future that could have been.
