Claire getting her sign name
I'm truly honoured to have been gifted my sign name. It was a very special moment for me when I received it during one of the play groups we did with Deaf Aotearoa- First Signs at The Hearing House.
Thank you to Natasha Cloete for gifting me this meaningful sign name.

By day Gillian quietly goes about her business looking after our accounts but scratch a little deeper and you will find she and her son Matthew are also our clients; a family who has walked the walk. Matthew was first referred to The Hearing House in 2006. He even took his first steps at the Hearing House Preschool!

Signing, speaking and listening all in a day’s fun for young Zaheen
if i want to be moved to tears, i just watch these videos, it works every time. god bless you all.
Still can't get how that cutie knows all those "sci-fi movies sounds, pulsation sounds" if the poor-thing was deaf since the day of her birth?
A question? If she was deaf how can she have an accent 😯
That’s beautiful
Good on you girl..? Now you can listen to all the BS in the world
Omg she is cute
If she has never heard speech how can she have an English accent ??
Please read the description, your answer is there.
Love watching these videos, I always cry whenever they cry too!! Most all of us take our hearing for granted.
She speaks excellent English, unusual for someone with a bad hearing impairment.
Watching myself 10 years later is kinda crazy😆
Does my voice sound regular or does it sound weird? "Well I've never heard anything ever, so..."
This seriously made me tear up! My daughter has progressive hearing loss, so I'm doing all the research I can.
It's a blessing that she can now hear the legendary Windows XP start up music.
😂😂😂
Don't nasty,,,. Voice ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Warms my heart
Is the sound bad or do I need a Cochlear Implant too?
🙋
Danielle, you have a beautiful personality! Thanks for sharing your experience.
since that time no one has heard of you. How has your life been with your new way of listening I hope you can answer greetings from Chile ..
Hi, I'm very glad that you heard a hug from Chile for the first time. with love Claudio
very pretty young girl its great that she can hear now
I’m confused..everyone sounds either Aussie or NZ but she sounds English?
She sound Aussie bruh
You can't hear but develope a hard british accent? That's so funny :D
That’s what is confusing me too!
read the top description she had progressively worse hearing loss since 7 months old and was wearing hearing aids but they no longer worked so she needed surgery for implants.
That's a Kiwi (New Zealand) accent, and she does speak beautifully - better than 99% of Kiwi's I know (P.S. I live in NZ).
Such a lovely girl and a wonderful tear jerking reaction. I can feel the emotion rise up at 3:03..Wonderful.
Very excited for her....😊
Go for my second cochlear implant March, 2021 can't wait!!!
Am I the only one who thought this was the singer Poppy? Still a sweet story?
какая умная девушка
Hoping all is well still young lady 🤗🤗🤗
awesome
That's really cool but I just really want to know how he keeps it on his head. Mine flies off every time I dance and I can't increase the magnet strength because it's been giving me headaches. I have tried taping the processor behind my ear but that doesn't stay long, so I'm not sure what to do
Brilliant these videos make the world seem a better place than it is, the world ot should be, in my mind no one should be hungry cold and alone, no one should be hated or feel hate, please if anyone reads this look up the great dictator Charlie Chaplin's fantastically beautiful speech to mankind, where you go from there is up to you, my love readers it's all free.
Love the way this young lady sees herself..With the hair,etc..
This is one of my favorites of these implant success stories. Danielle does an amazing job communicating what it's like to have her brain trying to make sense of this new input! I hope she's doing well!
K is little funny
What a pretty Lady. When was the onset of her loss. Is she wearing Aids as Well.
Poppy is illuminati
😊👍🏼
She's a very smart girl. Actually smarter that all people in the room. I'm happy for her.
aye little girl
Deafinitely not that Poppy
This is a different poppy
AliiCatPlayz Gâmez yes
What I find amazing is that when a person has never heard anything in their life yet when they speak, they have their native accent. Very fascinating!
+ch bodazaphfa+ Good observation!...., yeah.., I never realized that.
deaf people often take speech therapy classes, because their inability to hear pronunciation gives them a mumble, so the voice coach helps them sound normal.
Bodhi Sattva sometimes folks are hearing and they loose their hearing from a disease or a accident. She can articulate very well.
Beautiful Lady. Love her accent.
I believe she has had hearing aid. In the past.
Thank you for uploading this, great stuff!
ahhhh!!!!!! that is me
How old is Henry and what is his hearing age?
Best part is 3:03. So happy for her.
