Salvation is God's gift to us that's undeserved! However, it requires that we turn from sin, which requires the power of the Holy Ghost. He is quick to forgive when we repent! While God certainly looks at the heart (the "inside"), what is seen on the outside is to some extent, a reflection of what's on the inside. We need Him every day to live as He's called us to live!

Just as we need love and compassion, we need wisdom and discernment in the body of Christ. Paul said in ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ (‭NLT‬‬), “It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.” Thank God that He has paid the price for sin, and He is not willing that any should perish! Just as He has shown us mercy, we must extend the same to others!

@ We ought to pray what David wrote in ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬ tells us, "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” A Christian ought to desire to live as Paul said in ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” Just as we must obey John 13:34-35, we must focus on fulfilling Matthew 28:19 and Ephesians 4:11-13. To do this, it requires that we are a separate people, free and opposed to sin (see Romans 8:12-13). Jude 1:22-23 instructs us to show mercy to those whose faith is wavering, but also to be cautious, and hate the sins that contaminate their lives. Paul said in ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” We must accept all of Scripture, and obey the instruction we're given. Just as we must be merciful and show grace, as Jesus has to us, we must be opposed to sin, just as He is. Redemption is for all who desire to please God!

Yes He did! Paul said in ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ (‭NLT), “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”‬‬ Thank God for His sacrifice!

Hi Bruce! "Acting like Jews" is not what we preach, nor how we live. I'll encourage you to read 2 Corinthians 12:12, and Romans 15:15-19. God's promises and the outpouring of his spirit are not limited by the teachings nor the traditions of men. Be blessed!
