@@billyhodges4200 Fact! Just like Jay Gordon Of Orgy covered JD's version of Slept So Long. I read somewhere that Manson did in fact show up in the Nevada dessert to gather the crowd to film the concert scene. Much better times :) JD's version of Slept So Long is pure awesomeness.
It sucks that Jonathan’s record label did not allow him to release this songs with the soundtrack, he needed other vocalists to sing his songs for the soundtrack release. Jonathan did such a phenomenal job, love his singing in the film’s songs
10% of the comments: This is Manson version 90% of the comments: This isn't Marilyn Manson version it's obviously JD and you're deaf if you can't recognize him
got a Ramones feeling ... I love you JD ...and im sorry we use u for our pain... you deserve more than that treatment ... I am sorry for that selfish part of me...I didnt realize I was using you .... 😞💙
Love this/Davis version. It's too band the last verse isn't included: "you say your life I'm taking always bothering me. I can't take this anymore I'm failing, always smothering me. You look down on me hey what you see take this gift from me you will soon be for me!"
Why do people think this is mansons cover? This is clearly Jonathan Davis singing. I do wish they would release the full album of his original tracks. I liked the OST with mixed artists a lot, but JD's originals were so much better.
@QTee That...and it also made more sense as the Character in the movie was meant to have sung all the songs (sung by JD ofc) so to have each song in the movie with vastly different vocals would have been stupid asf... What we take away from this though...is that JD did a complete album in his way...then got all the top names in Nu-metal at that time to then cover each song in their own way so you get two albums of the same songs...but each vastly different. Genius
did you this song was suppose to be part of the Queen of the Damn movie but it didn't make the cut there suppose two more unreleased songs I wonder if he'll ever release them unless he has
Hella late but this one was the one he released and I'm not sure about that other song but I love that movie so much and I wish I could hear that other song
alduin dovakin It is, but Jon leaves out the last chorus bit that Manson has in his. Was wondering if Jon ever made an extended version like Manson did.
The song that supposed to be on Queen of the Damned movie. Didn't make it to the movie because JD mentioned the book ...
Who's hidden?
🖤
i did not know JD covered this. What a raw voice! EPIC
The in-movie version is Jonathan Davis. Jonathan Davis was Lestat's singing voice. Manson covered the song for the soundtrack.

JD is my idol. His voice is UNMISTAKABLE. I will stan him and Korn for ever.
Davis’ version of every song on the soundtrack was flawless and brought the life and true meaning to the music behind the movie.
My favorite song ever sung by Jonathan Davis....love it

Petitio for this song to be on Spotify
I love how they both have rights to this song😍

If you genuinely cannot tell that this is Jonathan Davis, you may be tone deaf. Like that's a legitimate concern here.
Jam
yo this my boi jon yo
I love this song ever since the movie came out
Just the Begin is cool.
Thank you Sir.
Shoulda been on the album. Great movie and music.
I always get lost in his voice and songs
Candice Karfitas I don't get lost of his voice singing because I listen to Jonathan Davis all the time and with Korn band too.
Was this ever released on disc?
can't wait for the new Jon album #->
masterpiece
if u think this is manson, ur a poser!
I love this song!
The people that can not tell this is obviously Davis, probably don't even listen to him or MM much. This is definitely not Manson.
Jackie Kimberly Voorhees estas enganada é MM
Jackie Kimberly Voorhees Maryln manson also sings this too but your right this version isnt him
@@jonnathansanders6546 ... Jonathan WROTE THE QUEEN OF THE DAMNED SOUNDTRACK
Were dose the pain go nowhere everywhere was the same thing as the base and I love the base
Nope not Manson, it's obvious. They have similar growls but not exact💚

Nope. In the movie they used Jonathan Davis' Versions. This is Manson's version: ua-cam.com/video/H3Rzhf1yrNc/v-deo.html

What does the symbol mean??
HIV it's Jonathan's autograph/signature.
oh, wow.. it is, I never noticed that good one Raven..
I prefer J.Ds version 😉
greatest song of all time Big hugs
Nice fan art
This is 100% the Jonathan version. In the Marilyn version he does his trademark scream which is not present here.
Some poeple probly then havent heard all his song`s
tbh I prefer Jonathan s version. I don't think is fair that he was not allowed because of his label something like that .
this is manson not davis...
+Inari Senju sorry but you're wrong, there are 2 versions, this one and Manson's version. i prefer Jonathan Davis obviously :D
ua-cam.com/video/H3Rzhf1yrNc/v-deo.html this is Manson.
This is the Jon Davis version :D
Anyone know where to find the version with Jon Davis singing the last verse as in Mansons version?
+AllThings HipHop (HipHopR3lated) compare marilyn manson to jonathan for this song. this video IS his version.
alduin dovakin It is, but Jon leaves out the last chorus bit that Manson has in his. Was wondering if Jon ever made an extended version like Manson did.
***** i....don't think he would. if there is an extended version, then it'll be fan made. though it'll get deleted by copyright reasons.
wish i could find the actual jonathn davis version!!!
this is him
Where to download this? Anyone know? iTunes doesn't know
