I had my license sense i was 24. Been a full year i haven’t driven by my self i drive with my dad honestly he doesnt help me mostly scream when i make mistakes. I have driven by myself in my home area sense i feel safer. But these helped me alot seeing someone who has the same problem as me make me want to push myself more and get over my anxiety

Your video just popped up on my feed, (maybe because I'm planning my first solo trip) and I have to say I agree with all your sentiments! Before I booked my flights I was struggling with all those things you mentioned, the "what if I'm lonely" thoughts, overthinking all the details and wanting to do everything, having trouble calculating things 😅 It's nice to know I'm not the only one! Glad I found this video. I first got my license at age 28 and never drove. Finally moved to US and wasn't able to get behind the wheel again. So I never drove for 5 years while living here. Now at age 35, I finally ripped the bandaid and got my US license. I second about driving with family. Although I got my license but I was so nervous when my husband is in the car. Few days ago because of some situation I had to drive back myself in the wee morning and on the highway (for the first time by myself). I was mentally preparing myself for hours and running thru different situations. But when I finally got in the car and drove, the usual anxiety kinda disappeared. It wasn't there. I mean I was still worrying but not as bad. So the summer plan is to keep trying to drive every day for 10 minutes to somewhere and back. I have done a lot of difficult things in life but driving seems to be the most difficult.

38 and I have driving anxiety. got over it mostly at 33. Driving in cities like LA still makes me panic though and I make sure to avoid it. stunted my life for sure, lost a lotta time in my 20s and early 30s.

This is why when I grew up I preferred anime, american media in the 90s up till 2010 was very racist not just against asians, but black, hispanic were all always stereotypes. While even in the 90s you had some white people playing natives, and even asians. Like even look at the 80s and 90s Ji Goe all the characters are like purposely different races to make different action figures, but they are like stereotypes of a race or something. While anime, even though they clearly looked like cartoons, people were never really stereotypes, they just had themes such as justice, doing the right thing etc.

Such an amazing video ❤ Though I'm not in your exact same position I am turning 20 this year. My mind creates these looming feelings of my youth plummeting = I can no longer be youthful. Which is honestly just such a croc of bull. I think you do an incredible job of connecting to your audience!! Though we're going through two different stages of life I feel like I can connect with you and empathize with your situation. You have a wonderfully calming video and voiceover style. I would have to say I completely agree with you in that last year truly taught me that if I put my faith in God he will not fail me…maybe in the moment it might feel as though I didn't get what I wanted but in hindsight, everything worked out perfectly. I feel like there's a common saying that when we plan god laughs, I perceive that to be God caringly/subtly reminding us that though we can strive towards goals and aspirations but at the end of the day we do not have 100% control over what happens in our own lives. This is something I've had to come to terms with in my teens. I'm trying to feel open to my 20s and not view them as if scary daunting part of my life I think having faith in God and being reminded by beautifully made videos such as your own reminded me that we are all here on this earth to simply exist and experience life. We should love more laugh more give more grace and think more gratefully. Thank you for your incredible video and this moment of reflection I've been able to have!
