Gerald was my piano teacher. He was always kind, patient and a true gentleman. We will always remember his piano improvisations and his wonderful bass singing voice. We are very sorry to hear of his passing and will remember him most fondly. Mena and Geoffrey Martin ( Hastings).

where did you learn what you are preaching

My add-in (based on 5 months of online services): A simple web camera and a long USB cable make it much easier to set up for angle and height. It also makes it easier to have something other than a 'talking head' style of presentation. A £50-90 model with 720p will give a good image for Zoom/Facebook/Video channel of choice.

As an Anglican Lay Reader I'd say there's definitely some useful advice here, particularly the tip at the very end, but here's a top tip from me for the Reverend: when presenting make sure your glasses are not sitting askew. Wonky frames get noticed by opticians, who then chat about them on social media and share screenshots with each other! Have your spectacles professionally refitted by a dispensing optician if necessary. All frames loosen and bend with time so you're encouraged to seek this service regularly and there will probably be no charge for it, especially if you return to the practice from where you bought them. If you bought them online then you reap what you sow. Thanks otherwise for a suitably short and practically driven presentation. I shall be putting some of the ideas into practice.
