Beautiful Tassie 😊
Really love to watch your video's and I hope one time to see you in the future hopefully
If you watch my video "Somerset the Place to Be" you will know where we live, drop in when you are over here and say hello.
I wonder where my uncle Graham is there?
Thanks so much for sharing that! Have often wondered about Cockle Creek & probably will never get there, but this is an excellent overview. Very envious of you both - living the life! Best wishes!
The Arthur River is a beautiful part of the world. I was on the other vessel a few years ago and it was an equally good cruise. I was impressed with the six of the sea eagle’s nest.
I love your videos so much
I love all your videos
Great little video on where I live. Both video quality and especially the guitar music are both superb. I only wish you had managed to record the Burnie CBD
Really great thanks. What time of year was it?.. Looks like it might have been before the big frosts
It was August 2023
'No place like home'
Didn’t know he was going over to Taz , the new engine he got done will see him home , he’s a true blue Oz legend , cheers from Scotland , PS Slim would have wrote a song about him if he’d still been with up ❤😊❤
Hi Bob It’s Matthew your Video showcases the Arcadia2 the Pieman River and the Experience in a Wonderful view As Skipper/ Captain I Thankyou If you and Your Wife Return it’s my Shout on the Boat Tour
Thank you Matthew we really enjoyed our 3 days there, we did say we would like to come again, but next time we'll bring some visitors from the mainland only stay for just the one night. I'm glad you enjoyed the video I try to get as much as I can in about the history of the place, I'd like to think that the video helps promote the Corinna experience
I believe it Showcases us well Bob Thankyou
This is beautiful, thankyou for showing us the beauty of the caves.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, yes that is one of the best presented caves we've ever been to And Vicky was glad to finish off the day at the Hot Springs.
Thankyou Bob for showing me around, I have family that came from there and raised the family. It's beautiful to see that the church they were married in is still there. Lots of history.
I'm glad My little video bought back some memories, we first discovered Westbury when we took off from the Westbury show grounds on a balloon flight, you are right about a lot of history as it is with a lot of the small towns in Tasmania.
Beautiful
Thank you for that yes we are so fortunate to live so close that we can go there any time we like
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful
I'm glad you enjoyed
I love your videos
Thank you so much for that, and I love making them.😃
Cheers Bob. Good to see the area.
Thanks for that even though we're not Tasmanians, just blowins from the mainland but we love the state that we live in.
I follow your videos from Egypt
Wow that's incredible are you an Aussie, or thinking of moving here someday.
@@bobpoole3403 actually I am deck officer on tanker vessel and I am thinking to move I already I took the first step forward to move to tasmania
Good one 👍
Awesome. We are booked into the Somerset Caravan Park for 4 nights in early Feb 2025 for the start of our 3 month trip around Tassie. Thanks for sharing.
you will love it here, if you are coming from the mainland a good time to escape the heat. check out my videos on Stanley & surrounds. thanks for your comment.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍6
Many thanks!
Hi Guys, been watching your videos a while now as we plan to move there hopefully soon! We were there for visit end of December/early Jan. & stayed in that pink cabin! Wish I knew we were so close to you, would have been good to meet.
That's amazing I said the Vicky the other day I wonder if before long somebody'll come knocking on our door saying Hey we watch your videos on UA-cam. You couldn't do better than moving down here because it's a great place but just really check it out where you're going to settle Some places can be quite isolated But next time you hear pop in for a drink I do my own home brew 😊
Sam is an absolute legend. An 'old soul' in a young body. He embodies everything that Australia used to be about. Thanks for posting this Bob.
Love your video 😂❤ i’ll subscribe
😂 love this😍 Ma & Pa cooking pancakes ,good job Bob,& very brave of you to let Bob in your kitchen Vicky
Thanks so much we do have a lot of fun
Amazing young man💙. Really changed some young lives in the Kimberley talking to those kids. Most of all such a funny character bringing laughter to many . A great man to follow
Thanks Glennis how's it going over there in Melbourne ? no I didn't get the talk to the guy I just got the video as he was leaving.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍4
Thank you too
If it looks like you wouldn't want to take a caravan, it's exactly where I'd want to go. Otherwise you might as well pay to camp in Woolies carpark.🙃
Thanks Bob for sharing this! Your video captures the relaxed and uncrowded vibe we strive for at Steamfest.
Thank you for your comment we were really surprised at how good it was, but like I said in the video it was just too much for us to do in 1 day we will be back next year.
I just discovered your channel and I'm an ex Wynyard resident and now live in Queensland, thank you for the trip down memory lane. I have friends wishing to tour Tassie this year so I'll recommend your channel to them so they can decide on places to visit. Love your relaxing commentary and music choice.❤
Thank you Trudy, this is exactly why I do them, for people intending to visit Tasmania. We came over here 4 years for a visit and loved it, we now live in Somerset on the north-west coast. And we moved from Townsville Queensland.
I much prefer the other cruise boat.
The vanilla slice part was incredible !
An excellent coverage of Steam Fest. Well done. I'm returning to Tassie this year and I'll definitely be there for the next one. As a kid in Newcastle my favourite thing in the local playground was an old yellow Steamroller. My friend and I spent hours playing on it.
Really appreciate your video. One of my destination this April 24
Great Video! Thank you! I lived in Hobart for about 5yrs, 5months before moved to Brisbane. I have to wait till I retire then pack and move back! If it wasn't because of jobs, I never moved! Love Tassie 💙and have been to all these beautiful places mentioned in this video a couple of times
You built a house next to your caravan, nice job! 😁
Thanks for that yes we're very happy with the results
Planning 3 nights in Southport at the hotel in our caravan in mid-March 2024. Was 3 days enough? Thought we would base ourselves here to visit Hastings Caves and Cockle Creek. We are don't have a 4WD or off road van so thought we would do day trips to the afore mentioned places. Your thoughts? Thoroughly enjoying your informative videos.
That's the only way to do it you don't need a 4 wheel drive
Awesome. The bride and I are heading to Tassie for 3 months starting 5th Feb 2024. Thanks for sharing.
❤❤😊😊
What a wonderful holiday you shared with Alisha. You done so many special things and saw so many great places. All the memories you have sharing this time together. Keep safe. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Merry Christmas my dear friends in your new home ,I love it .
Nice filming, editing and narration with some great views! [couldn't help wondering what time of year it was: seemed to be blowing a gale in each segment! lol]
That was in February As far as the weather goes it's always changing that's the beauty of the place
Summer can get up to 35+C and Winter is never much below zero. Lovely climate....similar to mid to sthn Europe. I'm a current (Nov '23) absent resident.
22deg in the summer? Don't think so. Very informative videos. Facts are facts.
Fantastic
That was an odd seafoggy day. Cold and foggy 12c on the coast, but on the inland southern edge of Burnie it was sunny, hot, humid and nearly 21c.
It did not clear until about 6 o'clock that night
Loved it, thank you! I'm ashamed to say I've never been there (as a former Tasmania)! Fascinating history! 🤗👍
Yeah thanks for that, we've been here over 3 years now and not going back to the mainland, we've settled in somerset now. For the first 3 years we travelled the state and seen a lot more of it than the locals have. We love it.
wow, I had no idea the Burnie museum existed ! what a great display. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing 😄
I have to say it was a surprise to us as well.
Love your videos. We have had 4 wonderful holidays in Tassie and love revisiting many of the places we have been to with you and Vicki. Take care. 😀
We're a little bit sad to give up the grey nomad lifestyle, but we have to Settle down some time, there is still a lot to see and do locally around Bernie.
