The resin markers are actually for the winter board to signify which suit each clearing is
I bought the retail version for $18 today. Wonder how much I'm missing out on from the deluxe version.
That is a great price. I think the deluxe has all wooden components for the resources and double layered boards.
@@he-manandmeeple-cat1472 yeah it was a good find. We played it and it went strange though. The first tile that came off the stack was the one that gave $5 for running an auction. So it was bought and that guy ran like 15 auctions and the game was over in about 20 mins. He didn't win but he had a lot of money.

Actually one of my favorite games.
I agree. It looks deceptively simple, but the core mechanic is so well done that it keeps the game very competitive.
Similar to this one in tile mechanics: Eclipse. Best one is BSG though.

@@he-manandmeeple-cat1472 it's a fantastic game, but no longer in print, so can be very expensive to get your hands on.
For what are the castles?
They seem to be mostly decorative and you can place some of your tokens in them during the game, but otherwise I don't see any use to them. You could just keep everything in a pile :)
So glad you did an unboxing. Love your voice. I just need a video that shows me how to put the castles together without damaging them.
Thank you! I had the same problem with the castles! Sadly I wasn't able to put all of my castles together without bending or peeling some of the parts. I found it just takes a lot of patience and slowly "forcing" the short sides down while bending the bottom part out until the little tag slid into the opening. I think the designers could have made it a bit better, but they are very sturdy once they are complete! :) Hope that helps
@@he-manandmeeple-cat1472 after the video I actually tried it again and found that when I did 3 sides then added the bottom the last short piece fit a little easier.

It seems like US delivery for a lot of games happened quickly. I see updates that say so other kickstarters have been delivered in the US, but not rest of the world. I hope you get yours soon.

Where did you order this
This was through their kickstarter campaign. I think the regular retail release is planned for Q1'20 though, so you should be able to get it soon. There might be some components that were exclusive to kickstarter though.
Love this game, now will look at getting the upgrade set too
The addition of two new factions and the additional maps really makes it worth it
