How about the synergy with Dung Protector’s charm? Does the poison damage make it better to use
It lowers the hatchling’s initial impact damage but leaves a small damaging cloud after, effectively balancing out the damage as similar/the same. If the enemy is agile and doesn’t stay in the damaging cloud you are just getting less damage overall despite spending an extra charm notch on defender’s crest. I don’t recommend it unless you’re just having fun
there's a Brazilian guy named Dillian Resende who is trying to beat the entire game with that charm. It's been over an year since the beginning of the challenge, but he's already in the Hallownest Pantheon

@@JanKrzykowski how so? I use a controller still and this charm is amazing
@i_haskill good for you, but I personally can't charge a nail art and make movement while doing it. I think that it is easier on keyboard, because charging nail art and then making sure that it hits is much easier from the fact of having much more keys to your diposal. Pressing X on xbox controller with your thumb makes you almost unable to jump. That for me made bosses like No Eyes or Markoth unbeatable with nail arts. Doging Markoth's blades, charging nail art, dodging another one and then trying to use the nail art always ended with me getting damaged. And that probably gave me unpleasant memories with using nail arts. That may change when i learn to use them correctly, but for now i just don't think that they are AS good as they are on keyboard. Sorry for my bad english, that is not my first language.That's all

Just watched the intro and i had the exact same situation happen to me. Doing a casual run I noticed I had everything necessary for ending (and then some) and beat HK at just over 10 hours with 70% completion. I saw the challenge for 100% completion in under 20 hours and finished that in the next 5. Then i started a run for the speed run and Zote neglect achievements and finished at 3:22. I never thought i would get any of those.
I started playing hollow knight in august so far ive got 3 more achievments left for hollow knight beating P5 and both steel soul ones Beating the patheon of hollownest is no joke, props to you haskill
I got speedrun 1 on accident during my first (successful) Steel Soul run and ended up getting speed completion on the same save. To this day I only need Speedrun 2 and Pantheon of Hallownest but I haven't tried for speedrun 2 and the Pantheon kicked my butt. I wanna get them someday though

I only recently found this out, will need to go there myself soon! I remember finding that little ledge and thinking it seemed a bit weird and it felt something might be hidden but didn’t think to usr dream nail there.
