The contraptions of all time.
I started properly getting into PVP about a year ago and dived into a discord and hyper specific videos and after slogging through the period of Dying To Learn now feel a lot more at ease acting and reacting to the flow of a frontlines match - but still found lots of tips and help in this video! Thank you for making your video how you have, and for being a positive force for FFXIV PVP!
this was jkust linked , ngl pretty banging map awareness
you have given me so much wisdom in 22 minutes
good video, pretty funny.
your music saved me (from sucking bad)
Thank you for the video! Do you have any recommendations for targeting enemies and allies (not in the party) in frontline
Thanks for watching! 1) Click (sorry) 2) Manipulate your camera while tab targeting. I do this sometimes: if I want to quickly target the closest person without clicking, I quickly swing my camera to point at the ground such that they're the only enemy on my screen, then press tab 3) I think there's an option in settings now to keybind a "target closest enemy" key, but I don't use it
I wish some people would realise that recklessly/thoughtlessly through themselves at the enemy and dying over and over is worse than if they just stayed at spawn and did nothing. Ideally I'd like them to play smarter, but don't just die thoughtlessly.
Also gg on the vid. There's a massive lack of GOOD PVP content for 14 on YT. Most of it is incredibly superficial and can be gleaned just from reading tooltips. Which I guess is FINE, but there needs to be more depth.
Your elitist behavior is why people dont play frontlines. Enjoy long que lines because you have no friends.
@@sammicopor What elitist behaviour? lmfao Also frontlines always instant pops on aether even without a premade. Cope seethe etc.
the tip about looking to see if u cant see one of the teams on the map to know that theyre Fucking Coming For You is such a game changer, thank you. map awareness is definitely the most important aspect to frontlines.... i think like 99% of the time that i die is bc my team decided to disengage from a fight and i am too consumed by bloodlust to notice and therefore end up being the last one to try and leave
I’ve clearly been playing this game all wrong. Being launched into the air looks way more fun
