For the third singer Patti absolutely nailed it. At 18 that song was beyond her emotionally. Great singer but it was surface level. "I miss my life" are the song lyrics but at 18 you've barely started.

TWO AMAZING WOMEN BRAVO!!!

This was the very first Grammy Living Legends Award broadcast. Willie Nelson, Liza Minelli and Andrew Lloyd Webber. During the tribute to ALW Denice Williams sang Memory, Patti LuPone sang Don’t Cry for Me Argentina. But the absolute highlight of the entire evening that brought down the house was Sarah Brightman singing Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. It was beyond memorizing. And the audience went crazy when she finished. She and ALW were still married at the time. He had a difficult time getting out of his seat after watching her performance….
