I don't think I've ever gone into Emporium through Melbourne Central (I always enter at street level). 😂 But it's such a lovely store. I didn't get a chance to do Love Your Bookshop Day this year - but I have to do a Walk the City of Literature walk through Melbourne again at some point. Loved seeing what you guys picked up - enjoy those books! 💖

The Warm Hands of Ghosts sounds wonderful! A similar book is House of Velvet and Glass by Katherine Howe; spiritualism and seances, leading up to WW1, witchy elements. I recommend it!

I was looking for a good review. That way I am here. I found somewhere else The Nord Wind rec and got myself e-book. Yes Hades vibes and also Beauty and Beast beats. Like your summary. . SPOILER! go away 😅 . . . THE START was so so good so promising, the FL is so strong and finding solutions....AND THAN IT ONLY DISAPOINTED ME. We have enemies to lover, one horse, one bed trope, one handjob, one spicy scene, she holds out till the last moment were she finally says L word and MC sacrifices his powers to save her and be with her. FL has family problems that are fast modern therapie in truths and vulnability and so so. Also Alkohol addiction....it take to take drinks away to start to heal....it is that easy😮‍💨...we never see what damadge alkohol does in the story😑. Can someone tell me what was it for as she was beaten by the mob [because she is the queen😑] like what was the point? What was the truth about FMC Maid, what did she do in the past to be bound in servitude? Maid didn't want to say....did she ever sad? 🤔 Thx! Sorry I hat so much hopes🥺 but book became 😑🤦‍♀️for me
