I was really looking forward to seeing Black Flag. Listened to them when I got into this stuff back in 86 and every once in a while after. I went to this show and still feel like I never saw Black Flag or the Misfits. A lot of other bands killed though Viagra Boys, Scowl, Agent Orange, Dillenger Escape Plan, abd Turnstile were the high points for me. I didn't expect to like the Damned, but they were great live.

I saw them at the Hollywood Palladium, a benefit for the West Memphis Three. Mike Vallely sang all of "My War" with the band. Then, Dez Cadena and Robo played a "Damaged" and "First Four Years" set. That was really great! Greg Ginn can do what he wants, it's ultimately his band. Henry Rollins didn't found it, he just sang on some of their more notable albums.
