Brings back memories of 1967 when there were businesses with large public tracks

I used to race on a track very similar to this one at The Slot Shop, Elyria Oh. Sure do miss that place and the Hubbell's!

That track is almost identical to the 100' American that was at The Slot Shop in Elyria Ohio. Same color too! Mr. & Mrs. Hubbell were the best! R.I.P. I love the wiggle before the last turn, very fast track! Thanks for sharing.

Where can you buy one of those slot car tracks? We went to the local hobby shops when I was a kid but now they are all gone.

Some of the best memries I have as a child is when my father and I would go down to the track and race our cars around and aaround.

My friend and myself raced are 1965 Mustang slot cars in Barberton Ohio in 1965 , great memories.

Memories, started at 11yrs old...brushes, motors, Gears, tech deck. There were 3 tracks in my area growing up, 10yrs later all gone. I really didn't notice being consumed with Football, Baseball, GF but still had my Homemade wooden Race box I'd pull out once in awhile. A good 41 yr Old Memory. This vid just popped up on my suggested....Cool.

Best slot car tracks in Florida. The owner is great he will help you with whatever you need. The fellow racers are also top notch and willing to help. All around a great group of people.

That is cool. That is the type of slots I was used to. I worked at Celebrity Sports Center , in Denver and they had 3 great tracks downstairs.

I used to run my Cox slot car when I was a kid 50 years ago. I get why it's fun to race them. But it's obvious why not many want to watch this competition: It's so ridiculously fast, that few people can visually keep up with what's happening.
