I don’t know in which place you guys are in Mexico, but I recommend going to Guadalajara, there’s lots of food treasure in the city, like Tortas Ahogadas, Carne en su Jugo, Tostadas de Pierna, Lomo, Cueritos & Pata, plus Lonches de Pierna

If you go again to Mexico, you should go one day to Guadalajara and try Tortas Ahogadas, Lonches de Pierna, Tostadas de Pierna in whereever you go, and also the Churros especially in the neighborhood of San Juan Bosco, and try the birria in Tlaquepaque
