Some of the flock of a minimum of 129 Birds seen in the afternoon, very distant, dull & cold, so not the best video. I try and visit this area on the 16th as it's the date Jimmy Steele left us, he loved geese & enjoyed watching taiga's near Slamanan.

This lady sings so, so much...! ❤❤❤❤
Turned onto this channel on Saturday purely by chance and was totally blown away by this track. Ended watching the rest of the show but thought Emma was the outstanding star on the night.
Just came across your video John. Watched one today up the Glen. Came to within an arms length from me. Beautiful bird.
Just saw them and they played this one in Seattle. Who is that lovely singer? No Michael Jerome?
Anna could sing the phone book and it would still be damn good 👍🏽
🖤
Thomas H. Green of The Arts Desk said that the album Bonjour" by Francis and Harry was "Old fashioned, poignant, likeable and offbeat." The Skinny magazine made it their album of the week. Fiona Shepherd of The Scotsman Newspaper said: "A thoughtful collaboration with Macdonald providing the elegant soundtrack to Pye's lyrics on art appreciation, nostalgic reminisces and the simple pleasures." Robert Murray of CLASH magazine wrote: “Punky vignettes, fusing spoken word with classic pop, easy listening and more” Sympathy For Jean-Luc Godard is “shimmering and radiating feel good vibes” Mark Barton (God Is In The TV website) “Delightful stuff.” Roland Monger (Listen with Monger website) "Odd but good" **** (Jenny Bulley Mojo Magazine) “I Feel Like a Record That’s Scratched is pure catchy power pop... a work of art.” Calum Craig (Is This Music? Website) “Wonderfully quirky” - Flux magazine “
With his adjusted vocal style due to age etc and using the guitar to back up his voice, he seems to have imparted deeper emotion and context to his singing.
Thanks John for uploading these songs, an incredible night, great to share it with you.x
Never Less than Perfect ... 💚
I live in the USA now, but I’ll be visiting the UK next year and I have this dream that Friends Again will reunite sometime during that three weeks!
Beautiful!
Still brings a lump to my throat...
I am surprised to be disappointed - and I don’t know who to blame. As I can’t know if it sounded this way to the audience, it could be the fault of the sound engineers (too much drum, unbalanced voice mikes) or the fact that it was recorded on a phone. Condenser microphones are bad for picking up the strangest things, but I have never heard Richard’s voice or guitar sound so…weak. I hope it’s a technical issue, because I can’t quite articulate the alternative. 😢
It sounded much better on the night.🙂
Last night at The Wilbur in Boston the sound was clear and the performance was brilliant.
@@peterbennett7826 I’m glad to hear it!
I think that's the same darling l saw on the slipway in Lerwick Harbour early to mid May that year on a cruise stopover in Shetland. And as l sat on the bench overlooking the harbour a huge black seal lifted his head to royally appraise me with intelligent eyes. Disconcerting, amazing.
The beatles of our time in one man...Richard Hawley...
Wow that's amazing ❤
Attended this gig - wonderful to see it here!
Her dad must be so proud of her , RIP Stuart
Called 'Still' ?
I’m watching this from Russia with the understanding that I will never see The Bathers live. beautiful and sad.
Such a classic.
Pretty good........fopr 2024.

Love you Nat

Thanks so much. Getting such great footage of all your videos is superb. Cheers. ❤
Was immense at Hammersmith as well 😊
It's supposed to be pronounced 'Rum - ney" not 'Rim - ney".
Correct!
Roger McGuinn changed his pronunciation of it to Rumney in 2006 after receiving an email from S Wales. But this does seem to affect the rhythm of the song?
Great gig! 👍🏼
Fantastic, can't wait wait for next Thursday 👍
Stunning.
Hey John, I didn''t know you were at this gig. Do you know what song he played between this one and Heavy Rain? Apparently it wasn't on the set list. Paul
I was completely unaware of the song until I heard Paolo Nutini covering it...then I heard the original a little later. I really like the song.
Absolutely fantastic. Also my favourite band of all time.
I'm Looking for Someone to Find Me, fab, thanks for the videos.
nice string section on that guitar riff
Good tune .The way hes playing past the mouth hole on guitar is from arthur lee
If I could write one song half as good as We Let the Stars Go...
It’s just a stunning song. Beautiful. There is a bit of a lift from Diana Ross and I’m Still Waiting, in the chorus. (Paddy Joe/Little Girl.). Doesn’t take away from its brilliance though. Trashcans my favourite band btw.

Thanks for uploading. 🙏🏼❤️
Exquisite.
El juego del teclado en esa canción es hermoso, sumado con los detalles de la voz de Dona!! Definitivamente mi canción favorita del nuevo album, gracias por subir
