The Perth zoo is a little quiet right now as it is preparing for an upgrade of a lot of the enclosures. Hopefully it will be amazing once it is all completed.

My first attempt at making a video. I hope it's ok. I went down our local beach to film our beautiful sights and some shell finds :) I forgot to add in the video of my shells at home so I have made this Part 1 and the other Part 2 ... oops

Hey mate put some a that they-ah in a box and send it ova ee-ah.
Bee's will normally rest on the ground while searching for a new place to set up a hive. ❤😊 ps for some reason the like button isn't working 😮
Awsome! Nothing like that here in Sweden.
The wood piece shaped like a cone , I believe is some kind of peg. As for pushing through two pieces of wood. The splits in the end may have been used to hit metal or hard wood timber through to tighten the wedge better in place. Like a hammer joined to hickory wood. And a splint hammered in to hold the hickory in the shaft of the hammer. The wedge you have if it is? I’m certain was never used. Good luck. 👍👍
Wow, I'd be like a kid in a lolly shop! 😍 Thanks for sharing Nanna!! 💙 Love from Tasmania xxx
Nova escrita acompanhando teu rico trabalho atrás de lindas pedras Deus abençoe sempre abraço.❤️❤❤️❤❤️❤👍👍
Hi I have a piece it’s a perfect cube I cut. Beautiful dark green its 237 mm x237 x 237 mm its transparent with a powerful torch. Weight is 1.78 kilograms. Beautiful piece with zero flaws. Boy that Green gem Chrysoprase is Damm hard it took me one week to, perhaps 45 hours working on that project. Cheers.
I’d love to see that, never heard of veins getting that thick.
The quartz and green stone neither are of gem quality are everywhere in the goldfields, its just rubbish.
It's not rubbish if you use it for craft or displays like I do
@@TreasureHuntingNana great you will never run out of it, there must be millions of tons of it in the gold fields.
What a treasure trove of wild goodies you have over there. I think if I was there, I'd be flycamping along that part of the road. If NZ has these things I've never heard about except for our fossils.
Nice finds! Is this spot easy to get to? Heading out to kal in October and wound mind trying to find a piece!
Loved watching. We have just gotten back from a road trip to WA and I would have loved to fossick but didn't have a clue how to or where to go. I'm hoping to get back again.
we drive off the main roads into the bush and try our luck. Thats how we find things :)
Is that the mess they leave after they took what they want thats shocking
U could bag up the ones u throw back as sum one else would buy them im sure
I have thought about it. :)
Most of that material is Nickle country, so it's a nickle mine
yes :)
Green Variscite?
chrysoprase :)
I'd be going out there at night with a black light. Nice stuff we don't see here in British Columbia. At night often enough going out with a red light in search of mushrooms, for some reason the ones I eat glow better than the others. Anyhoo, cheers on the rock hunt. Ever look south of calgoorlie? I think there might be some opal 5 kms from the town.
it's a good idea... but no way i would go out here in the dark.... middle of no where hahahaha
@@TreasureHuntingNana Big strapping man will protect you.
@@mrparrehesian1742 haha I'll give it a miss
Greetings from Canada. That's a rock tumbler's dream!

Dan Hurd has claim of Picture Rocks.
Lovely. I think he is in America??
Wonderful. Thankyou
Wow, a little museum. I love it ❤
Where did you say you were ?
Why make a 25 minute video if you keep tossing them back
because I have hundreds at home and I don't need them all.... I made the videos to show anyone interested in the rocks out here. It's that simple.
Wow, he did an awesome job.
He sure did :) Thank you
@@kindnessmattersalways agreed
@@TreasureHuntingNanaWe are in Kalgoorlie, When are you guys heading out again?
@@kindnessmattersalways sept 18th we will be in Kalgoorlie :)
@@TreasureHuntingNana Not long now. 😍 we definitely need to catch up 😁
AWESOME 😎
Thank you :)
@@TreasureHuntingNana it's glorious
Is that on a haul rd where public can or can't go please.
open to public and easy to get to if you know where *wink*
Mate,if you don't go down haul roads...you,ll never find any gold.Same with leases...if the pegs are old...and there's no sign of recent activity....then I run my detector over it and KEEP the gold.People sit on these leases hoping the mines need there lease for a road...without actually prospecting it.
Can you do video of before and after rock tumbling please 🙏
When I get around to tumbling them, I will be doing a video of it... But it will be some time before I get to it :/
Do you sell any of your rocks on eBay or anywhere. I’m in WA but cant travel atm. Love the video
hello, thanks for watching. I do not sell sorry.
Any clues to the location please 🔎
East of kalgoorlie

oh cool... let me know when you're here. will be back in Kalgoorlie in Sept
@@TreasureHuntingNana Awesome, we will definitely be in touch. Take you out for some gold prospecting 😉😍

I think that was a seatbelt from an old car?
ah yes, it may well have been. Thanks
Holbrooks sauce bottle stopper. I miss running around the bush finding stuff. I haven’t done it since I was a little kid out in Koolyanobbing
Awww, Thank you. I sure enjoy it.
They might be trilobites
You made me look into it and this is what I found... they are Trilobite imposters and not related...They are called Chitons :) Thanks for your help :)

Thank you for the beach visit, waves from across the ditch
Thank you :)
Your filming was lovely. The bubble shell's are huge compared to the one's on gulf side of Florida!
Thanks so much x
