Sound design in film shapes the audience's emotional and sensory experience by creating and enhancing auditory elements like dialogue, sound effects, ambience, and music. It sets the mood, supports storytelling, builds immersive worlds, and can manipulate psychological tension to elevate the overall cinematic experience.
I feel music and sound in film is so underrated. It's good to see a platform that allows the greats in the field to share their work and process.
