I remember feeling throughout this movie “what is with the animation in this one it’s like weirdly less detailed but also more at the same time, everything looks all weird…” then I got to this ending scene and everything fell into place… “OH MY GOOOODDDD the animation was like that because they were building up to the flower being something straight out of AKIRA.” Also I can’t help but wonder if the character “Flowey” from Undertale was at all inspired by this film…

What would have happened if Sanji loved and was attracted to all women of all ages? Would Sanji have necessarily accepted Doctor Kureha into the Straw Hat Crew?

I keep thinking about this moment in this movie just on how painful it must be to be in baron's place. his actions are unforgiveable throughout this movie but they are his way of coping with his trauma of losing his whole crew and someone like that is always dangerous and needs to be put down. I feel bad for baron but killing off the crewmates of other captains is one of the worst ways to cope with his trauma so he deserves that punch from luffy.
