Fun fact: Baron omatsuri and the secret pirate island takes place in an alternative timeline before thriller bark, before brook joins. Notice the similarities. Both Baron Omatsuri and Brook lost their crews. But, Baron omatsuri took it in a different way. He wanted the world to know his pain and suffering.
