this was waaaay out of my comfort zone, but I can say that this is now one of my favorite trailers so far!
misery and lowe have a special place in my heart, and once again Ali Hazelwood did this story in such a beautiful way.
concerning the trailer :
i've tried to cast them the best way possible, and i'm proud of the result. Freya is, in my opinion, the best person to play Misery. the same applies for Simone.
i've tried to capture the essence of the book : the war between two species, the wedding,
misery trying to find her bestfriend,
her taking bath (because our precious girl think she smells...),
the spicy scenes between lowe and misery,
misery being poissoned,
and so much more!

I absolutely like the ship between Maddy Perez and "Monty", and I can imagine Ash is actually Monty, just he is getting a fresh start in a new town under the name 'Ash'. I can also imagine the two have a past. In this story, it's very possible that they had kinda known each other as kids, and Ash liked Maddy but one of them moved away. Years later, they reunite as teens, and just glancing at each other probably led to a hookup. Since that happened, it is clear there was some attraction between them, but nothing happened. Despite that Maddy's taken by someone else who doesn't treat her right, Ash remains sorta friends with her as he feels that she should get far, far away from Nate. Great video!
