4 years later this helped me. I'm a 25 guy who just bought his first home, have to learn everything
@@squidwardenjoyer2904 Good luck, mate. It's rewarding to learn these skills and DIY
Just bought a 2013 Suzuki Bergman 650 with 2500 miles on it. Serviced it, new tires and battery and I love it. ABS,quiet, folding electric mirrors, huge under seat storage, electric windshield and low center of gravity. And goes like the wind with manual/auto modes. Love it. Low workload with the CVT transmission making traffic effortless. 75 MPH with two up on interstate is effortless. And for $5,000, best purchase I ever made.
@@MelvinNewcomb-m3g All the maintenance is quite easy except the valve clearances. I have made few videos to help fellow Burgman riders. Enjoy the bike
Yep the vfr gen 5 is the best. Never to be built again. I've got mine in the garage. Sometimes i think about selling it because i don't ride it much, then i slap myself and watch a video like this. Brings me back to reality. Greats bike.
@@Mothy2014 Add a Translogic quick-shifter to it and it will outperform most bikes.
@@rockyp3917 thanks, I'll look into it for sure. I've actually been thinking about a quick shifter recently
nice review man, you basically said it was better (T-Max) without saying it out loud. at the end, sales and preference/styles speak for themselves. Top selling model for FR, SP, IT. and it all comes down to budget too. thanks for your insights!
@@gustavgod You can't go wrong with either, they are both great bikes

Crusier bars i call it
Going down montains burgman select shift is great
When you've wound the line on and placed in the notches that holds it. Placed the line through both the holes. Do you take line off notches before putting the cap on so it self feeds?
@@shellducker7078 it's a self feeding model
u ROKK!
No worry's on that , we do not get that junk over here in Belgium 😂🤣👍👍👍
Did this solve your issues? I’m getting awful mileage and surging issues.
Haven’t ridden since 2015-2017, owned a 2015 Yamaha R3 back then as a commuter bike (mainly freeway riding). I now have a longer commute and thinking of which bike to get. There’s a used 2017 Yamaha R3 w ABS that’s going for $3,999 and a 98’ VFR800 for $100 cheaper. Do you think the VFR might be “too much bike” for me as a returner and instead play it safe with the R3 or would you say the VFR with its CBS braking system, excellent performance, and weight distribution should be enough of a safety cushion? I’m mainly concerned about the VFR’s weight if I’m being honest but watching your videos along with others praising Honda’s engineering in making the weight so well distributed, that it hardly makes a difference. Thanks for the help and keep making great VFR content (I’m scrapping all of UA-cam for every bit of info I can get. 🤣)
@@musicspider911 Definitely go with the VFR 800, there is absolutely no comparison to the R3. The weight of the VFR is so low that you will hardly notice it. It's not like a Hayabusa or ZX14R that you feel the weight. You will have much much more fun on the V4 engine. It's a complete sensory experience. Go for it
@@rockyp3917 Thank you for the reply back Rocky and everything I’ve read and watched about the VFR800 (especially the 5th gen) has been something of a hidden gem. I feel like I’d be owning a cool piece of an over engineering (in a good way) piece of history by Honda. The bike even through these motovlogs shine and has kept my constant attention for some unexplainable reason. Thanks again man! 👍
Hi Rocky, sounds like you have a Go Pro fitted to your helmet. Nice video and beautiful scenery. Looks a bit like Canberra area? Excellent bike and great video. I ride a CBF250 at the moment. It does all I need it to do but mate of mine has the late 90's VFR750 which Ive ridden. Absolutely Butter smooth in every area, transmission, motor and handling. Gorgeous machines!
@@garysouthwell5762 The CBF250 is a great bike too.

Just sat on a burgman 650 and thought it was a beast. My 15 year old daughter sat pillion and found it very uncomfortable due the 'man spreading' position of her legs. Looking for a bike to get to work whilst dropping her at school.
@@sanatandharma4435 The pillion seat is good for adults but may be too wide for kids. As long as they are wearing slacks they should get used to the seat. It's a great bike though
I own both a Honda GL1800A Goldwing plus a Suzuki Bergman that I just bought. Right off I noticed a harshness in the ride over bumps in the front end. It probably isn't fair to compare to the Wing, but after a few thousand miles on the Bergman now, I really do enjoy it much more than the Wing for day to day use but only on decent roads. I just wish I hadn't been spoiled on the Wing by the plush ride. But I do plan to sell the Wing and at my advanced age of 80, and feel the Bergman is a better overall choice for day to day riding. It really is a vastly underrated bike in all respects...
@@TOURMANBOB The ride quality of Goldwing is far superior, it's a tongue and cheek comparison. The Goldwing also costs $40,000 AUD
Did you replace the gasket too?
The Burgman has more class . The Yamaha Looks cheaply made !
I wish I did this to begin with. The 4-2-1 is a nightmare with the emissions. The slip on would make life a lot easier!
Sounds like exhaust manifold leak.
Could you just pump the oil into the level plug hole ?
Use eye protection too
Should have sold that scooter. I'm sure you're regretting it.
Btw at 8min You jumped into the left lane improperly...you had to stay in the right lane...the car was fine!!
i have this problem to
Did you keep it?
What exactly is the weight of this bike
Thats cute
Thoughts between 650 exec burger and kymco ak 550?
Cruise control is unfortunately the start button (Perhaps a little bit confusing, but the symbol is there) Power electric windscreen is there (It was one of the options available from that very far forward hidden button on the left & then once you cycle through the options it'll be the up/down button that was on-top
Thank you!
Brilliant’. Drove me crazy as well
sounds SO good !
Go UP 1 tooth on a 14R Not down. Your not riding a litre bike now 😂
You can lean a disposable cup on the center stand to catch the oil from the oil level hole
Brilliant! That's a great tip 🙏
Remember your dab of anti seize
Absolutely! I have started using it now
Motorcycle specific oil feels like a scam in the US a lot of the time. They charge you double the price of a car oil per quart for anything semi synthetic or better. I heard that Shell Rotella T6 (full synth oil for Diesel engines) is JASO MA2 certified...and it turns out it is! I now buy it in 5 quart jugs for cheap because it's not a niche motorcycle only product. Highly recommend.
Thank you!
I had my heart set on a Honda DN-01 automatic bike but I recently read that the ground clearance on that bike is terrible and can't lean it too far in the twisties without scraping the footboards. I googled the Burgman for that reason (a bike I had targeted before the DN-01) and your video came up first in the results. Thanks for posting this video so people like myself can see how far you can lean the Burgman. The twisties is what makes riding a motorcycle/scooter the most fun in my book. Looks like I might have to reassess my want now.
You will be surprised, how well the Burgman handles in twisties
Долбаебы... ездить надо по правой стороне дороги. Вот поэтому вы все в очко долбитесь
Its a perfect budget scooter . A vespa costs more than double . So the vision is a smart buy .
I drive a 2009 Burgman 400 since a year, but it lacks torque and acceleration for me, love everything else. I think I'll try to find a Burgman 650 to see if the torque and acceleration feels better
I still have a 2018 B650. Only has about 25000km on it. Heh. Daily commuter from home to work (in the city) and back again. Gets me thru rush hour traffic easy actually, I just fold up the mirrors, and you can filter easy. You can keep up with the smaller bikes once those mirrors go in. I don't have to get up an hour earlier to drive in or take the subway in. And it's easy to park. And it doesn't toast my thigh like the R1 or FZ1S does. Heh.
I love my vision 110... perfect for my city and delivery work
Thanks for the strategic breakdown of what to do when dealing with overheating issues. However, I hope that I will be spared this problem with my Burgman...
Very good video. I was struggling to install a trimmer line in Ozito. Well explain Bunning guy. Thanks😊
Hi, I just picked up a 98 VFR800 with 53,000km in Perth the other day... Did you end up selling yours?
Yes I did then I went and bought another one 😂
@@rockyp3917 This is my 4th Honda V4. 20 years ago I had a VF400, then a VF500 and finally a VFR750. I now have the VFR800 as the VFRs are hard to top
