@@tkendrick200 No, that was not the correct size.
Danger!!! I have had (5 ) 650 Burgmans over 15 years Fabulous Bikes does more than any other Bike can do! Light steering, large storage, fast, 55 to the Gallon ,Elec windscreen, Mirrors, heated Seats, Heated grips, Quiet engine noise, Be ( careful) they stopped making them in 2019, you must have the stock Bolt that goes into the CVT unit checked for ware and tare or you will have a £2500 Drive belt replacement, inc engine removal, yes that happened to Me! (Tmax 600) I had a new one last year better brakes than the Burgman, Better cornering Better TFT Screen, But annoying loud engine noise, Seat to high for anyone under 5ft 9” and a massive £13000 purchase price against £9000 for Burgman, Be wary The Bergman is not a bike for the Older gent as its to heavy to push manoeuvre around, my bike is a 2017 Model they hold there money well? By the Way Great Video, do u live in Australia old chap? Make the best of your Burgman before they become a museum piece? Have a Great Day, Ponty Pete.
@@pontypete7357 Yes, indeed. The Burgman is a great bike but a bit heavy but fortunately the weight is all down low. Here in Australia very few people know about these wonderful bikes, scooters are regarded as boring and slow. I will never sell my Burgman
Suzuki dropped the entire burgman lineup a while ago, BMW also dropped the 600 lineup the tmax 560 is the only one that has survived. It’s a really good unit except for the high price $20K AUD
@@Simon-RucknRideAUD You can buy a much much better bike for $20k than the T-max 560
@ I have a Harley 883 Iron 2017 I did a brief test ride the other day as the dealership was having a promo it surprised me how good it was but yes it’s very expensive considering. I will most likely get a Suzuki DRZ4S or Enfield 650 Bear as a 2nd bike the Triumph x400 scram is the wildcard
To consume that much you have to drive like an idiot and of course always in the city. My Burgman has never consumed 6 liters, it has always been between 4.1 and 4.6. Check your driving habits.
Hi everyone, i was wondering wich kind of oil to put in my k6 but owners manual say only 10w40. Semi o fully synthetic? Everyone says its own opinion but Suzuki service recommended me the fully synthetic wich i bought notul7100...but im bot really sure because as I know is more slippery than semi and I'm a little bit worry about the clutch... Does anyone tried the 7100 yet? How about the clutch? About the video sir, just keep in mind thera are two hoses that connect the engine oil to the clutch... If you put 90w for transmission whic for esample could be motul 80w90 (that it supposed to be for the final gear) your going to mix it with the 10w40 engine oil... So i suggest to be careful thats my opinion. Btw thank you all in advance. Cheers
For me the Burgman's electronically controlled CVT is one of the things that puts it in a class all its own. It makes for a much more relaxed ride, especially around town. I notice your rpms rev up to 4k-5k+ anytime you twist the throttle, and you are barely moving at 30-40 kph. The Burgman is much calmer and only revs up when you actually want or need it to. All scooters with centrifugally controlled CVTs do the same. Their engine winds up constantly. I had a BMW 650 and it too rev'd all the time no matter that I just wanted to tool around the neighborhood leisurely. And while the BMW had a lot going for it, the ride always seemed anxious and the engine was busy! If my Burgman ever dies on me, I will get another asap.
@@rollingstone3017 Great observation.
Beautiful Have the same yoshis Did ride comfort improve with the single bar? How difficult is it to install? I ve got 1" bar risers but it was not enough
@@piraltas The bike was very comfortable after the installation of the handlebars. It is difficult to install and will take your entire day, as you have to install new clutch cable and brake lines.

Get the turbo 400 burgman 2025 or the 650.if they sale it in usa.
Thanks for the review. I've never owned a motorized bike before. I really wanna get one just to hobby ride on the weekends. Ive used an electric road scooter at the Gold Coast and had loads of fun.

I ended up watching this because I have a ‘95 VFR750. Just wondering where you are, since you drive on the left?

Just bought a 2013 Suzuki Bergman 650 with 2500 miles on it. Serviced it, new tires and battery and I love it. ABS,quiet, folding electric mirrors, huge under seat storage, electric windshield and low center of gravity. And goes like the wind with manual/auto modes. Love it. Low workload with the CVT transmission making traffic effortless. 75 MPH with two up on interstate is effortless. And for $5,000, best purchase I ever made.
@@MelvinNewcomb-m3g All the maintenance is quite easy except the valve clearances. I have made few videos to help fellow Burgman riders. Enjoy the bike
Yep the vfr gen 5 is the best. Never to be built again. I've got mine in the garage. Sometimes i think about selling it because i don't ride it much, then i slap myself and watch a video like this. Brings me back to reality. Greats bike.

nice review man, you basically said it was better (T-Max) without saying it out loud. at the end, sales and preference/styles speak for themselves. Top selling model for FR, SP, IT. and it all comes down to budget too. thanks for your insights!

Did this solve your issues? I’m getting awful mileage and surging issues.
Haven’t ridden since 2015-2017, owned a 2015 Yamaha R3 back then as a commuter bike (mainly freeway riding). I now have a longer commute and thinking of which bike to get. There’s a used 2017 Yamaha R3 w ABS that’s going for $3,999 and a 98’ VFR800 for $100 cheaper. Do you think the VFR might be “too much bike” for me as a returner and instead play it safe with the R3 or would you say the VFR with its CBS braking system, excellent performance, and weight distribution should be enough of a safety cushion? I’m mainly concerned about the VFR’s weight if I’m being honest but watching your videos along with others praising Honda’s engineering in making the weight so well distributed, that it hardly makes a difference. Thanks for the help and keep making great VFR content (I’m scrapping all of UA-cam for every bit of info I can get. 🤣)
@@musicspider911 Definitely go with the VFR 800, there is absolutely no comparison to the R3. The weight of the VFR is so low that you will hardly notice it. It's not like a Hayabusa or ZX14R that you feel the weight. You will have much much more fun on the V4 engine. It's a complete sensory experience. Go for it
@@rockyp3917 Thank you for the reply back Rocky and everything I’ve read and watched about the VFR800 (especially the 5th gen) has been something of a hidden gem. I feel like I’d be owning a cool piece of an over engineering (in a good way) piece of history by Honda. The bike even through these motovlogs shine and has kept my constant attention for some unexplainable reason. Thanks again man! 👍
Hi Rocky, sounds like you have a Go Pro fitted to your helmet. Nice video and beautiful scenery. Looks a bit like Canberra area? Excellent bike and great video. I ride a CBF250 at the moment. It does all I need it to do but mate of mine has the late 90's VFR750 which Ive ridden. Absolutely Butter smooth in every area, transmission, motor and handling. Gorgeous machines!

Just sat on a burgman 650 and thought it was a beast. My 15 year old daughter sat pillion and found it very uncomfortable due the 'man spreading' position of her legs. Looking for a bike to get to work whilst dropping her at school.
@@sanatandharma4435 The pillion seat is good for adults but may be too wide for kids. As long as they are wearing slacks they should get used to the seat. It's a great bike though
I own both a Honda GL1800A Goldwing plus a Suzuki Bergman that I just bought. Right off I noticed a harshness in the ride over bumps in the front end. It probably isn't fair to compare to the Wing, but after a few thousand miles on the Bergman now, I really do enjoy it much more than the Wing for day to day use but only on decent roads. I just wish I hadn't been spoiled on the Wing by the plush ride. But I do plan to sell the Wing and at my advanced age of 80, and feel the Bergman is a better overall choice for day to day riding. It really is a vastly underrated bike in all respects...
@@TOURMANBOB The ride quality of Goldwing is far superior, it's a tongue and cheek comparison. The Goldwing also costs $40,000 AUD
Take the air suspension off the goldwing. And put it on the burgman😂😂😂
Their is better suspension options for all scooters.which would still be allot cheaper than a goldwing.
I wonder why.
@@Robert-t1p Yeah, big difference in price
Did you replace the gasket too?
The Burgman has more class . The Yamaha Looks cheaply made !
I wish I did this to begin with. The 4-2-1 is a nightmare with the emissions. The slip on would make life a lot easier!
Sounds like exhaust manifold leak.
Could you just pump the oil into the level plug hole ?
Use eye protection too
Should have sold that scooter. I'm sure you're regretting it.

Thoughts between 650 exec burger and kymco ak 550?
Cruise control is unfortunately the start button (Perhaps a little bit confusing, but the symbol is there) Power electric windscreen is there (It was one of the options available from that very far forward hidden button on the left & then once you cycle through the options it'll be the up/down button that was on-top
