I just read the detailed guide. I’m confused as to whether the fishy smell I’m getting so soon is because the filter is dead or because I am not rinsing the parts enough. The guide says to rinse everything but once the fish smells this does not seem to work for me, the water comes out of the filter fishy. But I do not always keep the jug in the fridge so maybe this accelerates the wear? Do you recommend rinsing regularly as the instructions don’t say to do this

Thank you. I use the Waterdrop as a prefilter. Then I pour into a Perfectly Filtered pitcher that is in the fridge. I change the P.F. filter every 3 months. 2 adults/ 2 kids. 😊

The reason this review exists and is so biased to Waterdrop is likely because they offer an affiliate link whereas Berkey does not. A lot of these review pages focus specifically on products that are sold on Amazon so the creators can make money through Amazon's Affiliate Program, for example. There was no real testing done here. Unfortunately your Clearly Filtered information is outdated. They've refreshed their pitcher and primer bag about a month ago. You should have used the updated comparison. All issues with the old pitcher have been addressed.

There is a lot more "water conditioner" treatments than only TAC. Polyphosphates and citric acid are two commonly pushed. Is there any actual research proving 1) they work, 2) what is necessary so they work? Ion exchange is well understood and works when done correctly, and there is plenty of information on how to do it correctly.

I drink like 8-10 glasses a day, and every 10 to 15 mints i have this contant urge to pee (my pee is transparent) what do i do, cuz after alot of peeing i feeling weakened

You have to clean it with soap and water once a month? RIDICULOUS! In contrast, Berkley filters last for a decade and seldom if ever require any maintenance whatsoever (likely only if you use them in grey water or worse, according to their instructions). I have two Berkey’s for 11 years now, and the water is still perfect and tastes amazing after more than a decade of use with no maintenance- and the water is very hard and polluted here in Arizona.

What about Fluoride and Chlorine? Chlorine evaporates with steam and will get back to distilled water making it contaminated with chlorine.

Listen, they all work until they don't…The What? Purchased my system about 3 years back and now 1 of the tank(s) is leaking… This is when you find out if a Company is worth the investment. Spring Well in my opinion isn’t, not just because one of their systems has failed, it’s because it has been almost impossible to reach anyone for Service, advice, and or help. Spring Well operates out of New Jersey or Florida, which might explain why good service is almost impossible These states, in my experience, have a business ethics and integrity issues‼️ Buyers Beware, information is power, use yours wisely. I would not recommend this company or its products for the reasons stated.
