In the video the tracker is first set to static and then semi-attached. May be a short 3 minute video could help a lot, also for further customers.

All Fusion effects and generators use the timeline resolution of the clips. I typically recommend setting your timeline to a higher resolution right before export (4k) and setting the export resolution to your desired result (1080) if the loss of resolution becomes an issue

@@WippTemplates Oh, I thought when I have a 4K clip in a 1080 timeline and bring it into Fusion, Fusion will use the 4K resolution, no? But a fusion effect on the timeline will use the timeline resolution? The proposed workaround (1080 timeline with mixed resolutions -> change to 4K -> Export as 1080) is a bit cumbersome but might solve my issue. I always avoided zoom effects in the timeline because of losing resolution. Should also work with adjustment clips which use a zoom effect (on the 4K footage), right?Thanks.

@@bratwurstmeister1 If you have 4K media on a 1080 timeline and switch to the Fusion page you will see that media in its native resolution (4k). Everything else Fusion related (Fusion effects, adjustment clips, etc) will work in the timeline resolution. It's something I really hope Blackmagic Design will fix because its really inconvinent.

Nope! The updates are done manually. You just need to sign into your account, download the newest version, and open the .drfx file to install!

There are a bunch of good UA-cam tutorials covering the basics of making templates. For personal use that is usually more than enough because you only need to add features that you need in your workflow! Hey! It's not caused by the 19 beta, the new version of all these tools still work just fine in Resolve 18. Since the continued zoom slider is new in the standard mode I just haven't got it working with the match feature yet. Usually this isn't a problem because you typically don't have a continued zoom while using WippZoom and WippPivot.

That's probably due to the frame rate of the video. This was posted in 24fps so if you are used to 30fps or 60fps it can appear like there is a stutter. The titles will automatically adapt so using a higher frame rate isn't a problem and it will appear smoother!

That is using the Elastic Curve that I show towards the end of this video!

Yes and no. They are designed and optimized for the edit page. You can always use at least one inside of Fusion but if you use more than that you will sometimes run into issues where they start fighting with each other. I wouldn't buy it for a Fusion only workflow, but if you mostly work on the edit page and want to use it some in Fusion, you typically won't run into an issue. Hope this helps!

Nope! Every now and then DaVinci will glitch and forgot to uninstall the old version. You can either look up a tutorial on uninstalling .drfx files or reach out via the contact form on my website and I'll walk you through it!

@@2424rocket it's just a one-time glitch that is really rare. Plus if it happens its a 2 min fix and doesn't break your project!

How did you create the effect of zoom in and just select those controllers?

Hey! It depends on what exactly you are going for. It does have the additional points that you would be able to add in across the path, but if you want the line to stop drawing at one of those you would have to use a second instance of the tool! The nice thing is that its very flexible and has many ways you can utilize it to create almost any map animation!
