What is the formula for the machine accounting for the assistance of gravity during the concentric phase for the hamstring?
Is there a law program available at Coastal?
Hi Dean! Thank you for your question. We do not currently offer a law program in and of itself. However, we do offer a Pre-Law minor within our Department of Politics and Geography, for those students with an interest in attending law school after graduation or a career in the legal field.
Can someone explain how the energy output peaks higher at a slower pace compared to higher rate of speed I thought a higher speed would recruit more explosive muscle contractions causing a greater force output as other muscles would be used.
I have ebooks which can help you understand James. Here is a quick explanation and exceptions exist: The recruitment and decruitment of motor units in an orderly manner is governed by the size principle, which is based on the relationship between motor unit twitch force and recruitment threshold. Specifically, motor units are recruited in order according to their recruitment thresholds and firing rates, which results in a continuum of voluntary force in the agonist muscle. Because most muscles contain a range of Type I and II muscle fibers (as classified by their motor unit type), force production can range from very low levels to maximum. Before a high-threshold motor unit is recruited, all of the motor units below it are recruited sequentially.
To all thinking about coming here, a lot has changed. Here is a link that shows our up to date campus, as well as our future plans for expansion, which are massive: www.coastal.edu/about/masterplan/overview.pdf The horseshoe is now a very nice open park, which makes the front building, Singleton, look a million times better. The Baseball stadium has been torn down and the new one is about 70% complete. The previous seating held about 800 people, the new stadium is a huge three story complex that will seat close to 3,000 to accommodate our national powerhouse baseball team. Brooks Stadium, our football field, now has Adkins Fieldhouse on the opposite side of the scoreboard, which is where our student section sits and is a three story building for our team to train in. The opposing side has been expanded as well. Our football team just made it to the elite 8 in the FCS Tournament and will be even better next year (so be prepared to support your team). The HTC Center was completed last year and is an incredible gym for students to use, and it's where our basketball team plays. Though it's state of the art, it only seats around 3,000 and big games will sell out fast. Two new academic buildings have since been added: a three story building named Britton Hall, which has an Einstine Brothers Bagel shop on the first floor, and a state of the art science building called Swain Hall. Construction is currently underway for a huge annex of the student center, which will add three more buildings that include a movie theatre and other things, though it seems to be going slowly with only a few workers out there at a time. We just got a Starbucks in our library which is great and closes really late to accommodate. Also, incoming freshmen will be pleased to know that some $80 million are being spent on new dorms that looks very nice in the blueprints. Lengthy comment, but it should be insightful when coupled with the above link. The campus literally looks completely different than the video. We are even better now :)
Looks amazing I hope I get accepted.
Congratulations on your acceptance!!!
Got accepted 2 weeks ago :) visit the campus during the spring!!!! This school is amazing
Any chance we could get an updated video like this? I'm a senior currently, and so much construction has been done since this.

The Intelligence and National Security Studies major is designed to develop understanding of the intelligence process and its role in domestic and foreign security policy-making. The department’s mission is to prepare students for entry-level positions in security-related fields that involve research, analysis, planning, and evaluation of policies and programs. The faculty have extensive experience in the intelligence field including the CIA. For more information, please visit our website!
I'm interested in your Intelligence And National Security major. How does it compare with USC Columbia's International Studies major? Also, I understand that you have faculty that have worked for CIA, correct?
Hi Taylor! The Marine Science program employs aspects of biology, chemistry, geology, and physical oceanography/atmospheric science toward the study of the ocean environment. You can then select an emphasis that fits your interests. The Biology program offers a B.S. Degree in Biology and professors have a broad range of expertise, from the molecular scale to the ecosystem. Our website is a good place to start to get more info or you can speak with an admissions counselor at 800-277-7000. Thanks!
Hi! I am currently a sophomore in high schoolconsidering going into Marine Science. I was wondering if your program deals more with the ocean or the wetlands? And if I decided to go into medicine instead what's your biology/medical program like?
Hi Jacob! Congratulations on the acceptance! Our Admissions counselors can answer questions you may have about tuition costs and help you with identifying scholarships and other financial aid you may be eligible for. You can reach us at 1-800-277-7000. We'll be breaking for the holidays after today, but will be back on January 2. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

"Seems if one contracts their muscles over a period of time. This will form the compression of energy within the individual. And this is forming the future potential for eXplosive decompression as time unfolds. And food is compressed energy and the spark the Planck constant, just like the fuel we put in our cars is compressed energy and when the spark egnites the eXplosive decompression drives the pistons."
Congratulations on your acceptance!
Toured the campus today and found out that i've been accepted here can't wait!
what was I doing in Organic chemistry all those years?
Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing you soon. Let us know if you have any questions we can help you with.
Hi! I just found out that I've been accepted here :) Really excited!
We’re happy to be your dream school! About 47 percent of our students are from outside South Carolina-including a large population of students from Maryland. We are going to many college fairs in Maryland, so check our online travel schedule and perhaps your parents can go with you to meet our counselors when we are in your area. Please call the Admissions Office at 1-800-277-7000 with any questions you or your parents have. We look forward to working with you through the application process!
How hard is it for someone who's coming out of state to get into Coastal Carolina University? This is seriously my dream school, but I'm all the way up in Maryland. My parents want me to stay up there but i need some key points to convince them that this school is best for me. Please help! Applying soon!
Would love to see this updated! A lot has changed on campus since 2009!

Hi! I'm currently enrolled in the California University of Pennsylvania, but its only my third semester, and I'm definitely considering transferring. I'm currently in secondary education social studies and was wondering what is your education program like?
It's really interesting to see a group learning and perform the same techniques we learn in our movement class. Great video, allows other students to step back and learn rather than being engulfed in it. Thanks for posting this video.
Hi! Sure, you may embed this video on your website or link to it. Thanks!
Is it oke that i post this movie on my website. Yesterday i've got the test and now i want to write about it but i think that my readers dont understand it without a movie..
