I miss these shows so much, it's an actual physical pain I feel, and I never thought I would say that I miss RCKNDY, which is absolutely GROSS to admit. It's a beautiful, powerful beast of a performance and I am thrilled you polished it up all pretty and unleashed back into this world. Andy, I hardly knew ye, well done, Good Sir! Just discovering the Gits stuff has finally been remastered and reissued. I probably listen to the two Gits albums about every/other day. I've longed for when someone would finally revisit and reissue these, and hopefully more people who were never exposed to their music can see just how amazing ths band and Mia were together. One of the worst losses... RIP Mia Zapata... a voice like no other, raw energy and emotion, and she had the drive to succeed and there is no doubt in my mind the Gits would have been gigantic. Such a fucking horrible loss. She was a one-of-a-kind talent, and the band was just so tight as a unit together. I hope that a new generation of fans will discover this. Finding Gits CDs/LPs was borderline impossible unless you just still had your copies or wanted to pay silly money for the longest time. Really happy to see this on here, and read about the reissue.
