What’s happening in that panel you discussed is he threw a guy off a moving train into a pole, but that guy had wrapped a chain around Horseman. So when the bad guy hit the pole, the chain yanked Horseman off the train, too. So he is falling backwards off the train towards the ground, and the guys he is shooting at jumped off the train after him, so they’re falling forward at him. It’s a very cinematic scene. Which is Joe’s style. He draws action in a way where you can visualize the choreography better than most artists are capable of portraying. It’s one of the things that makes him stand out so much.
