What happened why did it pop
We aren't sure if it is dry rotted or just old. We used proper PSI and we don't keep it aired up, BUT we hadn't used it in over 2 years so just sitting in the garage rolled up probably didn't do it any favors. We're going to video the repair over the winter and do a test launch in the spring! 😅 Hope it holds up!

Fun video! Cut my teeth on Miracle Strip! glad they pay some homage to it! Low key sort of wish someone with a ton of money would build it back! It would make a great companion to Shipwreck, sort of like it was supposed to be.
I would love it if they would do that! I think we're going to see more development with Shipwreck now that they've partnered with the bigger company in Texas but only time will tell.

Great video, but disappointed that you guys had plastic water bottles in the river. always use reusable bottles and or containers.
Aww... I'm sorry you were disappointed. Everything we brought with us, we brought out. We also recycle and reuse any plastic water bottles. For a 4 hour float we'd love to hear your recommendations for packing water and your beverages!

@@burkeanne oh yes! We love to visit with friends too! We love to ride our golf cart around there and go to Dave & Busters, especially on half price game nights. Also, so many places to eat, plus Target, plus the boutique stores. So much fun for a day of shopping and dining. We also love to go to the new Barnes and Nobles at Pier Park North. So much fun! 🤍

@@EarthTrips oh soo true about the crosswalks! As a rule of thumb, I wave at the driver and make eye contact and make sure they are stopping! We don't take any chances!
