That actually makes sense 😅 my apartment has so many small scratches. The landlord or so fussy about their floors.

Pro core flooring is horrible, scratches easily and the edges break, and the company would not honor their warranty, do not recommend

My favorite part is when you gently tap the ends and both tiles snap. Guess it was sitting in the store a while and became brittle...

The planks already have a pad underlayment attached to them. But if your talking about a moisture barrier underlayment, that is only required for concrete subfloors or raised subfloors that are less that 18" inches from grade (ground). And that moisture barrier should be a 6mm plastic sheeting.

Why wasn’t an underlayment used. I was told that the warrantee requires an underlayment of at least 1mm.

This isn't for DIYers. It takes patience and experience for a repair like this. I always say if it can come apart easily, just take it apart neatly and reinstall.

now that the floor is down and its aged about 3 years ...how do i fix corners that are coming up before they break off?

Please be safe. I think Vinyl, Laminate, and hardwood are all dangerous on stairs. I know carpets are dirty. I think using a easily replaceable carpet runner may be the best way to go. You only have to fall down from a slippery stairs once to realize carpet is the safest option. Since permanent carpet is too hard to replace therefore I recommend a runner option.

our luxury vinyl plank has spaces it was not as tight as this. I am very upset looking at it now I regret having it on my floor.

the locks on these boards are horrible so yes i have to fix some boards. but the way you describe this seems well

When installing this material make sure subfloor is clean and no humps in floor anywhere if you must fur there floor to make it flat you will be glad you did.

It says in the brochure the tongue side and the end should be placed against the wall???

Lol, the movies make it so simple; try on uneven concrete by hammer drilling in slab with anchors and cutting the transition due to odd lengths or lengths too long and splicing strips with adhesive and so on, many different applications

Can you lay these floors backwards or against the click and lock? Overlap at ends laid first then the next boards underneath?

I don’t understand such a easy thing, why all Floor guys come to my house and said those floor near door frame can not be replaced like the way you did. Your video clearly shows it can be replaced anywhere right? Including Those door frame area because my floor was not install under the frame, they cut around frame that’s why I want some one to replace all of them
