The Fast Disassembly Method for RK / AK type rifles I Came Up With.
I found once you get a good setup, you should just buy another frame until you find a good setup again, rinse, repeat.
Have you looked into the sheath to see what is causing that blunting to happen in so few draws, very disappointing
its the glass in the glass re enforced nylon. cold steel knives only work well in their original sheaths if what you use them for is more damaging than a single draw from the secure ex. I have dug holes with my srk. go custom kydex if you dont want to sharpen every couple days or like to take your knife in and out for fun.
The sheath material as @Cal4mity stated. Somekind of glass nylon material. I guess it's similar to g10.
Grooved handle instead of them nipples ❤
No nubbies please, I don't like the look. The next problem is, the nubbies will quickly wear off and that will make it look even worse.
Aaaah ofc. Great point. The nubbies would wear off and break off.
Aesthetically, I don't like the nubs.
without
Personally not a fan of the nubbies. I think a diamond grip pattern would look sick, kind of mimicking the handmade ones.
I have no idea how to do it on Cad. But it would be super cool. I'll have to ask the guys at the injection molding if they can do it. The only issue is that fine details under 3mm cost A LOT more to machine in molds. 3mm stuff for finishing takes 6h or so or running time on the machine. 2mm its already like over 12h. 1mm is like 30+ hours. So it's very very expensive.
I cant imagine a scenario where it would stay in your hand with the nubbies, but fall out without them. If it has a rubberized overmold and a palm swell, then its kinda on the user if they cant keep it in hand.
Yeah you're right, also there's the rised section before the blade to prevent fingers slipping over the edge.
please, no nubbies on the side, that looks horrible
I'll probably have to take them off anyway for the injection molding process to be affordable
it's getting ridiculous! 135€ for a tiny 80CrV2 blade, plus shipping and taxes, man, knives are tool, they are meant to be used and get dirty! i was interested at 120€, but the combination of beeing hard to clean due to the wrapped handle and the non-stainless steel kept me away. now you switch to aeb-l, and now, that a wrapped handle would be ok, you ditch the wrapping for costcutting? that makes absolutely no sense to me...
Yeah i understand. The 135€ is including shipping. I think the reason Lamnia brought it up by 15bucks is because they're using a box to ship, which increases the shipping cost per unit up above the letter limit to a package. The Scalpel in a letter is bellow 100grams, which has allowed me to keep the price down. I won't be ditching the handle wrapping. The V4 will be both in a wrapped handle and in an injection molded handle version. The overall plan with the scalpels is to develop a ''Mora'' style version of the knife, which is essentially a production/manufacturing process for a tool that is hardware store grade and low price. I just don't have the production scale or sales to produce scalpels under 90$ all by myself. The only difficulty with creating a low cost product is a very large initial investment in manufacturing equipment. A Cold Steel Kyoto 2 is around 50bucks but behind that is tens of thousands of dollars in modern manufacturing equipment and dozens of employees-labor with massive scale of sales. I'm just a one man operation. The price i have to sell the scalpels to distributors at, if i were to go any lower would make me loose money on the project. As the way things are i have to listen to what you're saying and take it into consideration for how the project moves forwards.
It looks good
Now I know where Sig seur got their idea
Looks awesome bro 👏 😉👊
I've always found the hardest part about using a red dot sight on a pistol is finally telling your parents you're gay.
The secure-ex sheath is glass fiber reinforced nylon and is like a rock against the blade. No matter how hard you sharpen, the knife gets dull every time you take it out of the sheath. A leather or Kydex sheath solves the problem.
It's possibly the case, i put a whetstone edge on the kyoto and it hasn't been suffering from dulling on the sheath. I think it's just the out the box edge combined with the sheath material that sucks. Maybe it's the factory burrs dunno. But i've heard that this sheath material is an issue from many sources.
Всё содрали у русских, голимы Калаш
How did you get a hold of that?
Well, my friend now you’ve got me all worked up
Hey, I like this.
These mini cold steel knives are super good. The out the box factory edge isn't all that amazing though, so good to put your own edge on them. I like the Kyoto2 a lot.
Man, I'm from Scandinavia and you look Finnish. I like and respect(edit) the Finns so Subbed from here (edit typo)
Yes i am from Finland! Torilla tavataan
@ThomasRonnberg Kiitos 👍
"sak-oh Ärko ninety five" lol
How to get one
Utra no Ultra
I agree it's my favorite and I own a few
I had a few old voyagers a kobon but the serrated grande vaquero was awesome and at 13.25 inch open a big ass folder.i carried it but it's a whopper but def a 6 inch blade with a 7 in handle.i really like the cold steel torture text vids. I had the tanto triple fold plain and serrated models.thst was a killer knife.bummer they discontinued them
I'm looking into one.bummet it's pretty dull. The ganzo Chinese folders I have are really sharp..I have the cold steel hide out and not too impressed with the scandi grind .
New blades look awesome bro 😁👊
love the look of these knives. -the fast speed on the fiskars buffer is scary!
Great video and a very nice example of a Contender. I have heard that the .22 caliber barrel is really fun to shoot as well and they come in lengths up to 14".

Thanks for your post. I have a Winchester 1200 in 12 ga. It looks to be almost identical to the 1300.
Pitääkin testata tätä tapaa.
Impressive
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. THE WINCHESTER 1300 IS NOT UNDERATED. IT HAS A VERY FAST ACTION BUT TWO FLAWS IN MANUFACTURE. FIRST, THERE IS A PLASTIC PIECE BETWEEN THE TRIGGER GROUP AND THE MAGAZINE OPENING THAT WILL BREAK AND SECOND, THE ACTION BARS WILL BRAKE OVER TIME. THESE TWO FLAWS RESULTING IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS MOVING ON TO REMINGTON AND MOSSBERG IN THE 1970S.
I have carried one since 2014 .the upgrade is buy another tail cap and O-rings and microstream clip . Take the regular clip off and add the microstream clip to secure it with 5/8 id heat shrink tubing . To cut it to length of the cap and shrink on you will not lose the clip . And it turns into a headlamp if you where a baseball cap . I love the 8 hr run time . don't spray break clean around the lens it will fog it up
Ultimate urban setup.
Great vídeo, people have to learn the difference about real food and ultraprocessed shiet.

You can get a different barrel for that frame, and might be fun to 22 barrel
I like rechargeable because I have solar so if the grid is down I can recharge during the day and I don’t have to stockpile batteries. On my weapon mounted lights I do prefer batteries though. Good review though.
Cool watching your setup evolve as you find out what works best for you. I would have to swap the wood fore-grip out for black composite to make it match...... (My OCD). Looks like a challenging but satisfying gun to shoot. So freakin quiet too!
I bought an emisar D4K that uses 21700 battery without USB charging and it was weird at first but I actually way prefer it now for edc. Also got a PB2S charger for recharging batteries, which kinda acts like a powerbank where I can swap batteries into my light from. Gives me constant up time instead of bullshit scenarios where your USB light is out of battery when you want to leave the house. Usb lights are a tiny bit heavier and longer as well, since they have to have the USB charging hardware stored inside the light. They're often less water resistant as well, like if you were to drop it in a puddle or maybe even the snow, USB lights might be at higher risk because of those gaping holes in the side. Most non USB lights can go fully submerged (don't try it lol) Once you get use to it I think usb charging is a bit overrated
I got a Cara Cara 2 right after they came out. When it was closed, the tip stuck out of the handle. Called the place i got it from and they said bring it in for an exchange. I got there and the guy said "well, i checked all of the ones i have in stock and they're all like that. You can pick the best one." That was my first and last Byrd. Edit: the actual molding is fine, but it feels cheap as hell. It has a tiny fraction of the glass fiber that Spyderco's FRN does. It just feels like nylon.
Yeah the handles do look cheap. I agree. Glad i didn't get the cara cara 2 haha
$$$$$
One of my favorites. When on winter bulk, I prefer the the pocket carry w the string attached to 5.11s D-ring. The pommel helps to pinpoint the handle. BTW - LOOKING fit man!
Nice! Painful history: i subbed to your channel back... because of dogegf coin 😂. But i love knives too. Glad everything is going well for you.
Seen a couple variants of these Finnish “AKs” at the GunShows here in Phoenix,AZ and man are these rifles really nice especially the milled receivers don’t get me wrong the stamped ones are nice to but gotta go with the milled version
