Hi Alex, nice to see someone else vlogging locally and how you approach it , some nice images there liked the reflection image and the final sunset image was very nice. Shame about all the litter just goes to show how some are spoiling the landscape we live in , shocking really.

Woodland is a very difficult genre, especially in the South East of the UK . I find the woodlands here to be so dense and un managed its really hard trying to get any real separation or characterful trees. You managed to capture some nice images and i also liked the image at 5:40 with the sun star . Very nice mate

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Agreed it's very challenging making good woodland shots in Kent, I keep telling myself it's making me a better photographer for when I visit easier locations!

Hi Alex, as you said social media is full of images , its very easy to think we need to produce many great images but the reality is very different. Most of us dont do this for a living so only get limited time , maybe you are only at a certain location once and cant return again and again, throw into the mix producing youtube videos and it adds anther layer of complexity ! I guess the answer is to shoot for yourself, do what makes you happy and if others like your work so much the better. Reculver is just down the road from me and i have made a few vlogs from there myself so was nice to see someone else's take on a local landmark. Very nice image mate, enjoyed the video.

Hi Lee, thanks for the comment, I've enjoyed your Reculver videos and been a subscriber of yours for some time so I'm really glad you enjoyed this one. You're right, taking photos for yourself is the best way of doing it and yes adding UA-cam into the mix certainly does increase the complexity!

Hi Andrew. Great videos. I tend to take 1 image. But sometimes I will think about the image, and i will walk around rediscovering the different angles against the image i already made. And maybe take 1 or 2 more. As you say, sometimes one has travelled some distance from home. You do need to look at your images on the computer screen when you arrive home. To be confident, you will have the image you wanted .keep up the excellent work David

Hi alex . I just watched the long exposure video at Whitstable Beach. I noticed you have a flippy screen on your camera. So I think that my suggestion of an angle finder. Would not be of benefit. I use it because I do not have a flippy screen All the best
